As Grif gives the order, small arms fire erupts from the building. Niko pours it on too,

Dagenham hunkers down behind the largest thing he can find to hand in a fit of cowardice. Well, at least you should be mostly safe in here, right?

Saber Squad - APC; Moving through the city - Dirk and Bob

TANK SHOCK!

The Bots get: 8!

The APC surges forward! You can just about hear one of the black 'bots bark something in a language that is most definitely not Terran Standard, and the mob scatters just in time to avoid getting flattened. Well, most of them do. One of the slower white ones gets clipped and goes flying into a parked car. Small arms fire and energy blasts rattle off the APC's hull, but you seem to have evaded the heavier weapons for now.

You can hear gunfire from the office block up ahead. The Spartans check their weapons for immediate deployment, and seem to be conversing on their private squad network.

Saber, Fang and Sword Squads - In The City

Sword open up as well, though Fang hold their ammo for now. Sword Delta flicks his Hydra to fire HE rounds, dumping an entire canister at the largest blurry area. Three explosions!

Then a loud roar sounds as a rocket motor ignites. Another deafening explosion, and a metallic howl of fury! Two, three heavy footsteps, the mass steps back as the blurring twists and wavers, then breaks in a spray of multicoloured pixels. Before anyone else can react or realize what they're looking at...

Fang-1 » "This isn't... ♥♥♥♥, nevermind! Shut up! Everyone, concentrate your fire on the head and upper torso! Just do it! Now!"

The smoke clears to reveal a massive black and silver, sleek and almost organic-looking warbot. The legs are long and graceful, presumably allowing it to move quickly when the need arises, maybe even jump a bit as well. From the elbow down, both arms are large cannons - the left bearing a heavy armoured plate that seems to have absorbed the brunt of the missile launcher attack, judging by the smoking crater and fractures in the plate.

The head observes the building with a single red eye-lens.

A cracked red eye-lens that has several of Georgii's K77A MG bullets embedded in it. (Luck expended!) Saying it looks pissed would... probably be an understatement. Yeah, let's go with that.

Whatever it is, it raises its right arm, preparing to counterattack.

Is there cover of any sorts on the street?

"Dammit! Those cannons are going to tear the APC to shreds once it gets into range... Men! Keep firing! I don't want it looking at anything other than your ugly mugs, you got it?!"

"Dirk, Jones, we've got a Heavy Mech assaulting our position, as soon as its visible I want its face to look like swiss cheese, and if you get so much as a dent on the APC Jones, lord help you..."

To Fang 1:
"If you don't tell me everything you know about this piece of scrap I'm going gut you like a fish, and THEN kill you. Understand?"
