This is typed from my credit rapeing phone, so I'll be brief. The ice planet was clearly stated with the discription of your system (page 2, your second action), I did not make it up and its name is (after I named it) Anderson. Why its become extra-solar I have no idea, and it should (theoretically) be available for colonization. (I have no idea why the spaceing is retarded, please forgive my phone.)

Canis Minor

Request advice from the new advisers on what we should do next. Let them manage resourcing to allow me to focus on more important things.
Minister of Industry and Trade. Galadius Ofnir provides a report listing the colonies current state of industry and trade. Recent communique show Gungnir moving to create a inter-colony trading fleet, an untapped market which considering our own reserves of raw material could be very profitable. Trade with the private refininng companies is beginning with 1t per turn at first to test the water as such, if you find the reserves too low we can always stop.
Minister of Foreign Affairs. Joseph Delafour adds a brief request for 2 intelligence personell and 2 Can interceptors to find out what has happened to the Nono Entomiybo Colony.
Minister of Defence. Argus Verosain in full military dress thanks you for the time and resources put into the orbital defences however notes that our more mobile assests are lacking.
Minister of Internal Affairs. Alizabeth Bequin doenst provide a report, but announces that owrk on the damn is nearing completion. with just the generators to be added and the station will come online.
Minister of Science. Koriel Zeth thanks you for the time put into SciCorp facilities, announcing that work on all avenues of teleportation technology is being explored. She also request the remaning two cans for scientific exploration.
Minister of the Ecology and Agriculture: Greigor Hax has nothing to report on however offers that the drones could be replaced by human workers if you required their services.

Continue work on teleportation technology.
Original theory and speculation is starting to get narrow down, the number of physical tests are increasing in frequency. the most promising aspect is in the colapse of a fusion reaction, it appears that spliced fusion reactions often colapse at the exact same moment, showing a synchronization with the main fusion reaction they were spliced off. Requests for some heavy metals to start their own "main" reaction to tests splices are put forth.

Enlargen the private sector. Bigger. Better.
The private sectors current weakness is its access to metals and raw metals. Triakis Private Mining another giant emerges, along with Arc Refining's stock going up, The public trade begins to boom. Triakis also taxed as per Arc's 25%.

Get the bureau of ship design back to work on the siege fleet.
The beureau of ship design join forces once more to begin construction of the Seige fleet. A design of something that looks strangely akin to the Wolf frigate is penned up and initial testing show it to be the right tool for the job. The first Corvette is a downsized frigate, removal of the point defence over armour and removal of the frontal cannons allows to to move quickly in combat. The 4 pairs of cannons on the sides/top/bottom remain.

Gungnir Industries

"Create more advanced mining drones, as many as possible. Related, use Both The chemical, and reactor processing."
Construction begins on the advanced mining drones, at 1 ton a peice theyll take some time to complete.
Chemical processing begins however shortly after the first chemical processor comes online a number of Gungnir colonists report various sicknesses, Colonists some of those not even working on the chemical processors are reported to have blood shot or bleeding eyes, some in advanced states have lost their vision.

'"Alright Omer, we have a power source and ultra conductive materials, what now?"
The first samples of the ultra conductive material are tested. Omer announce it is exactly the kind of material they need. however theyre going to need it in a larger quantity. Analysis of the materials shows one is also found in heavy metals. Initial experiments into extraction of the heavy metals begins.

"Give the SR1 a full crew of Excalibur personnel and send it over to find out whats wrong with Xexelith"
During Lazerus' night cycle a crew of Excalibur personnel leave with the SR1. and begin the journey to Xexelith territory (two turns).

And my responses to the previous turns actions.
Loot then scuttle the pirate frigate, make sure to take notes on ship design and weaponry, keep up the strict security protocols on the asteroid base.
The pirates frigate fell into Gungnirs "Carrier" class. The ship designed to hold a large number of interceptor craft. Its weaponry was light, most inferiour to your own except aboard they found one of the green aliens fighter craft. the thing had been torn to shreds by high velocity impacts and it was taken with the frigate back towards Gungnir space. A private report was sent to you regarding the fighter.
Give CSE a medium manufacturing zone and full use of Rosenthal to design them a freighter.
CES begin engineering and production of the first CSE Freighter the "GTV Tamiya" leaves dock. many colonists wish them good luck.

Gehenna

Begin development of a heavy observation/ECM cruiser, loaded with radio, X-ray and optical telescopes, jamming equipment, a databank of computer viruses, and a few pulsed lasers for self-defense.
Development of the Electronic Warfare class vessel begins, however during the development of the computer viruses one, manages to crash a vital system releasing the other three top class viruses. The viruses proceed to shred gehennan vital systems. Human "manual" saftey locks prevent any lasting damage, stopping floods of chemicals, nerve agents, psychopathic mining robots, however all software devices are shut down. in the chaos, many backups destroyed. (One or more actions next turn must be repairing systems)

Begin mass production, rationing, and consumption of the new wakefulness drug on Gehenna. Ship a quantity to Gungnir and Canis through Canis' private trade network.
Mass Production of Endure begins, with it being used internally and in Gehenna. First shipments are due to Canis after the first freighter arrives. The industrial boost is allready showing signs.

Fit both Bulkheads with purified-heavy metal lasers. Continue research in making the lasers more long-lasting and efficient (probably by modulating their power based on the specific material they are melting or by replacing standard refractors with durable artificial diamond).
Both bulkheads are fitted with the latest and greatest mining lasers however additional refinements on the minning lasers is interrupted by a system shutdown due to the virus attack.

The arrival of the ice planet is "official" as its course begins to alter, allready being manipulated by the stars gravitational force. Predictions show it will miss Gehennan assets as it passes through your system.

Nono Entromiybo


Thimai

Build the big ship first, it's more important.
The first Thimia'n Destroyer nears completion, Scientists providing three similiar designes yet differ in their role.
The first is a Light Command Destroyer, The design is based around a larger deck with space for tactical maps and scan reports. designed with more point defense and control in mind.
The second is a more armoured Assault Destroyer, The ship designed to pack a punch and take a few itself. equipped with extensive point defense grids and its side arnament is the ships focal point. 6 banks of triple barreled cannons line the sides. with two doubles on the dorsal and underside.
And lastly an Attack Destroyer. Armed with four double cannons on the sides/top/bottom and posessing 4 large lance cannons.

Expand mining operations on the irradiated planet.
Expansion begins with a pit mine beginning to take shape on the irridiated planets surface.

Begin making a capital city on the irradiated planet.
Construction of radiation proof bunkers on the planets surface begins. The first bunkers are down allowing a portion of the population to live on the surface.

The population of the colony ship are packed and additional living space is requested in a 98% majority.

Xexelith


Stationem XXVI

>Land on available, habitable asteroid.
Hundreds of asteroids litter the belt. Selecting one further out the colony ship lands here
(due to lack of atmosphere, the colony ship can in fact take off from here again)

>Begin colonizing there.
Colonization begins, with the ships conversion to its space station pattern. A great holiday is announced, the creation of Fidelis Unio.

>Contact locals (nearby colonies) to make alliances.
Local coms can directly connect you to the Gungnir, Canis and Gehennan colonies.

Klik'Tar

Have A Whale Acidise Its Insides And Regurgitate Them Into The Ocean, promptly spreading bacteria
Clouds of bacteria begin to polute the sea, thousands of fish and creatures begin to die off. some of the more sturdy types beign caught as additional hosts.

Get the other whales to hunt for anything useful e.g sharks, coral, Schools of fish >:D and promptly infect them with the above method If that is too much for a turn just make them hunt.
Coral proves to be resilliant to the infection due to its simplistic nature. however basic bacterial infections are rife amongst corals denziens. Larger fish, sharks, mantas, dolphins begin to fall before the whales.

Try to rebuild a basic comms relay, I want to give my new friends something to think about. Lol.
The coms relay is salvaged from the underside of the ship, and is placed at its highest point. Initial communications can be heard from Thimai however the ship requires more power before it can be a voice to other star systems.

On board hunger starts to become a problem, the human hosts begin to decay and their internal systems are starting to give out, The klik'tar will survive for longer off the bodies.

UNNAMED

Another Unidentified colony ship scans the K system.
The bright star heating 2 colonizable planets and a gas giant further out in the system. The gas giant has rings of asteroids and ice.

Make the whales continue to blow up in order to infect more fish

Were the humans ship pilots/engineers/anything useful? If so amalgamate them into the Hive Mind to have it extract memory and grow, if not then get a whale to come to the surface and allow itself to be fed upon by the Klik'Tar. Do not let the humans eat.

The adviser asks for trade ships, but I already made them a few turns back, and internal affairs is meant to be internal security services, like the CIA or MI5. Foreign Affairs is diplomacy.

Bigger private sector damn it! Found a few civilian starship yards.
Canis Minoris's greatest strength is the economy. Multiple corporations of the same type at the same time forces them to compete with one another to provide the best service.

Give the new frigate a name, then start production of a flotilla of 12 frigates.
A flotilla is a group of smaller ships like frigates or destroyers.

More teleportation science.
This would be very, very, very useful indeed.

Could I (And all races like mine) Have a different type of research, specifically, mutations.
Mutations would just be research except it adds something onto the DNA of a being, instead of a mechanical add-on.

Recover everything, dammit! Attempt to salvage whatever backups are available and improve safety locks on the virus project (cut off its links to outside systems and contain it within the database).

If the repairs succeed, continue research on the recon/ECM cruiser (nicknamed the "Haywire" by the Gehennan's dry sense of humor).

Begin production of a small fleet of 9 Pit Dog chassis. Equip three of the new ones with the standard flak turret configuration, four of them with close-range heavy lasers, and the remaining two with advanced radar and missile hardpoints.

This should take a while, but then I'll have decent offensive capability.

I just reread the thread and I noticed that I never got the benefits from the chemical separation refinery fun stuff.

Also, now that SCRI is built, shouldn't I get a boost to my science stats since you said there would be a efficiency boost :smile:
