That's because you have an astoundingly shittastic hard drive.
That's hardly Vista's fault.

pre vista would be 92, but I split the HDD space from the C drive into the H drive(C had a nasty virus on it[norton woul not uproot it{i now have AVG}]), so i lost 4 in the process.

You could install 4 copies of Vista and it wouldn't take up that much space. Hell, I'd wager that a good half of that 15 is probably just headroom for temp files and system backups or other such stuff.
There is no Windows installation in the history of ever that takes 65 gigs. You did something wrong somewhere.

Wait a second... How would you run a 1.06 GB games on 2 Gigs of memory?

the games files total up to 1.06 gigs, the actual games are rather non-massive, but still resource hogs.

Might want to check if you installed it and it kept all your previous installation files. Vista and 7 will do that if you don't tell it not to. Useful if you had ♥♥♥♥ in My Documents and all, not so useful if you know that you just want to kill everything and start anew.

But yes you did something wrong if Vista took more than 20 or so GB.

......my HDD is relatively new, the old one had to be replaced, it got left unplugged for 2 years and the data sort of.....evaporated i guess i would say?

That computer is... to put it lightly, one of the saddest pieces of scrap metal I have ever seen
My guess would be that the hard-drives corrupted or fragmented heavily, it can happen when you install OSs, especially on older hard-drives (which it probably is).
I would just buy a whole new computer, for around $500 you can get an alright rig, then you just need to buy a graphics card. Not that you probably want to get one by the sounds of it, but I'm afraid that's the best option.
