At least you should be able to salvage concepts and ideas form the story, and you would have developed your writing style over that time so if you do choose to start over the quality will be much greater. If you choose to keep the same storyline, you'll know where the the story's going, and be able to adjust certain parts of the text to create-

Sorry my hair fell into some boiling hot tea and then started hitting me in the face, kinda lost where I was going with this. Essentially, if you make the smart choice and continue writing this novel, only good things will come of it, and you will find you've learned more lessons than proper back-up routines :lol:

But I followed proper back up routines.

I kept one back up on site, and another off site.

I don't need to develop my writing style. Its already pretty damn good as it is, if I may say so myself. I already knew exactly where I wanted the story to go, I was drafting story concept for around two weeks before I settled on what I decided the plot should be.

And I don't think anyone wants to go from Ready to Publish to Start Again. I most certainly am not starting again.

The only way the bottom one could be improved is with a sequel. Sadly, I don't think that's going to happen :(

I always picked the Battle Engine with the chargeable super cannon. Simply cut engines from a high altitude, charge on your way down, fire at close range and pray to what ever gods you worship you still have enough energy to restart aerial mode before you slam into the ground.

My favourite mission was one that happens around half way through the campaign.

You have to support a massive Normandy style beach landing by shooting down bombers before they can drop bombs on the landing craft. The more landing craft survive, the easier the next part of the mission is : Taking the beach and securing a staging ground for the next mission.

Do I have to be a giant death robot/plane, or can I be a regular infantry soldier?

@caek: #1, add skittles/M&Ms/gummy bears/sour worms/other candy
#2, does it have enough bacon? Never enough bacon.
#3, sequel, like you said.

You have to be a giant death robot/plane.

Your not really giant though, the player is around the size of four tanks stacked on top of each other.

There's a NPC boss in game who puts you to shame. He has a massive particle beam that ruins tank columns.

You might be able to be a regular infantry soldier on multiplayer though, but I never tested that.

Fruit pastilles for #1. More meat for #2, and a titanic budget for #3.

Also, drama.
