Have the orbital docks start constructing civilian freighters. Use the colony ship design as a template, but remove all the extra habitation areas, etc.
Construction of the first Freighter design is complete. based upon a cut down version of the colony ship. Production waits as other projects take up metal.

Reassign one of the factories to become a civilian factory, producing civilian goods, both for use by our own people, and for trade purposes. Allow civilians to bit on ownership of the company.
a number of civilians join into the civilian factory. The Akkan Production Board is created between you and the board members. A number of civilians are recruited from the colony to perform the less technical tasks.

Request a list of potential research projects from SciCorp.
SciCorp publish their latest project listings;
Seige Fleet: Weaponry, hulls, reactors, armors.
Industrial: Automated factories, larger refineries, advanced miners.
Agricultural: spaceborne greenhouses, advanced agricultural drones

The first of the Multipurpose Mining drones comes online and begins work on metals.

Gungnir Industries

Omers thought exersizes on the mass relays begin to outline the kind of technology required for a Mass Relay, initial experiments utilise a form of booster for the ships cruise engines. however the two main problems are the need for a superconducting material and the immense power needed to provide this boost. Initial designes depict a single "gate" structure which is aimed towards a particular place in space.
Rosenthal SR1 Project begins to bear fruit working on a new class of stealth frigate. initially based off the wolf but becomming much more as the design is refined. The current iteration of the SR1 boasts the ability to either "disappear" from sensors after high power maneuvers or cruise slowly and invisibly for a short period of time. The sensor array is a mixture of onboard sensors and can launch / drop Deep space probes. The ships skin is painted a matte black in order to better hide against the expanse of space.

The asteroid belt is strong in metals, the larger asteroids show signs of heavy metals deep within them. along with the asteroids closest to the sun containing the largest concentration of heavy metals. The mid band contains the most metal while those on the far outside are a mixture of metals and other chemicals. Amidst the asteroids you detect a some kind of space station, its not Moloch Station and appears blank on your radar, only a mining drones camera managed to pickup its existance.
All the of the Mining drones are now placed onto metal mining within the asteroid belt in the meantime.

"Prosper!"
The colony continues to grow. with the population holding a small clebratory ceremony for having since doubled its initial popultion and the colony begins to construct another housing zone to allow for more expanison.


Gehenna

Alternative methods (by that i menat chemcical seperation as opposed to the current heat seperation) are further researched with the latest tests returning positive results, removing purities and separating the metals faster than the current systems.

Order Gehenna Deep Space Probe Beta to maintain a fix on the extrasolar planetary body. Begin initial forays into "planet cracker" thermonuclear fusion devices and extreme-high power orbit-to-surface lasers, for carving out metal deposits from above.
Probe Beta keeps its scanners focused on the extrasolar planet. As scientists begin work on extremely high explosive technologies. The most promising design is a large ship that drills its way into the planet before overloading its fusion core causing an immense explosion. To crack a whole planet they estimate 1600 such drones would be required each needing 1t of metal and 250kg of heavy metals for its reactor.
Experimentation on orbital mining concludes with the report that it is possible to mine from range but to do so would burn out the lasers very fast. about 100kg of material could be harvested before the laser burns out, this doesn’t include atmospheric interference which could cause it to burn out even faster.

Nono Entromiybo

Work on poverty problems.
The problem is not the poverty itself but the sheer number of people. Orders are sent out to employ more people however with few things to work on jobs are scarce. Training begins though and most Nonopans are ready for whatever comes their way.

Stop bioweapon research
With great caution the bioweapons are disposed of, Only a few nonopans ever worked on the bioweapons and very few others got into contact with them.

Increase population.
The population have reached maximum capacity of the colonies, and will require more living space to continue expanding.

Thimai

Expand mining operation (need more metal!)
Engineers aboard the spacestation and colony ship construct an additional 5 mining drones which are sent to the asteroidbelt to mine more resources.

Begin breeding program, we need more mans.
new systems on population control are placed. causing the colonies population to rise quickly

Continue agricultural work, we'll need to feed our folks.
Agriculture work continues, larger farming plots are setup on the planets surface and a large system of harvest and regrowth continues.

Xexelith

A Message from the Can Enroute to Gungnir reports an anomalous signature ahead. Shortly after all signs from the craft cease.

The aliens have arrived at F system and begin to surround one of the jungle planets, shuttles disembarking and landing on the planets surface. A message to Gungnir and Nono Entromibyo emitts from one of the massive carriers “Qe aee tou gace vefub xobareuxriob qirgib rgia atarwn. Oeegaoa qe xab xooeeare. Ab envaaat oeegaos.”

Send out the first mining ship to trawl the asteroid belt for things to mine.

Implement the new chemical refining methods, while beginning new research on using fusion reactions to provide the energy needed for mass smelting of heavy metals.

Develop a heavy, multipurpose mining cruiser, complete with a micro-refinery, storage for several drones, and a powerful engine for moving asteroids.

Along the same lines, think of ways to reduce mining laser burnout and atmospheric distortion (probably by additionally using some kind of "tunable" electron laser).
