I actually meant to write one good song, but yes they do all sound the same and the only reason I mildly enjoyed it was because the lyrics were clever.

I was just about to listen to that, but then I realised my computer was in safe mode.

I really don't like most rock since it's just..horrible to listen to but i do have some bands. The Postal Service. System of a down. Slipknot ( SOME SONGS) That's about it lol. Metalica too though.
For you disturbed fans, how about something that actually sounds good?

I forgot about Animal Collective. Good songs, although some parts do get a little too yelly.

I really fancy more of their abrasive pieces actually. Spirits was amazing. But this is not to say I love their softer stuff like Sung Tongs, which is my favorite album by them
Huh. I've only listened to Merriweather Post Pavilion. I'll go check out the album you mentioned soon.

If you're new to Anco. You should start with MPP, Sung Tongs, and Feels. Depending on which you liked the most, it goes like this. If you loved Sung Tongs, try out Young Prayer by Panda Bear, Campfire Songs, and Prospect Hummer If you loved Feels, try out Strawberry Jam, Fall Be Kind, and Water Curses If you loved MPP, try out Strawberry Jam and ODDSAC If you want to delve into their super deep experimental side, go with Spirits They're Gone, Danse Manatee, and Here Comes The Indian
Strawberry Jam is the jam of a lifetime by the way, you can't hate it
