What's it like above tier 2? Any good?

My top two tanks are at Tier 5. The M7 MT and the StugIII (pronounced STUGGIE by true pros).

The Stug is fantastic, and I haven't played enough of the fully upgraded M7 MT to judge.

It's not like I'm going to keep the M7, though. What I'm aiming for is the next one in line, the legendary Easy Eight.

I could have got my tier 4 Lee today, but because the game is being a ♥♥♥♥♥ and wont let me sell a damned tank, I don't have the slot available for it :S

The Lee is pretty goddamn awful unless you're one of those rare people with a knack for it.

People will take screenshots of your Lee, the TD Tank garbage truck of legend, and caption it with this song to commemorate your suffering:

Then they might underestimate me.

And when they least expect it...

They'll get a tankshell in the exhaust port.

Assuming you would be able to turn around in time in that piece of crap Lee.

You know how tank destroyer guns don't have rotating turrets, right? The Lee is basically a tank destroyer without the accuracy or the armor to get up close to enemies.

Tier 4 is pretty awful in general, though.

Indeed it is. I'm only going for the bucket so I can get the beasts after it, most notably, the M4A3E2, the Jumbo.

EDIT : I just got killed by the Lee. This is a good sign.

I keep getting one shot by tier 5s so often its actually depressing.

So I just downloaded WOT. Any suggestions on where to start?

Rule No. 1. Don't play SPGs. That's about as far as rules go.

I suggest you go down the German Tank Destroyer line, for starters. Stop when you get to the StugIII unless you're prepared for the horrible bowel-wrenching pain of the Jagdpanzer IV (though things do get slightly better after that, it's not worth it).

Either that or take the mildly OP Russian Medium/Heavy line, which goes T-26 - T-46 - T-28 - KV - more tanks which don't really matter because you're not that far yet. The KV, though it's really good, can be a bit difficult for new players; it's easy to horribly mismanage and fail at until you've played some other tanks of the same caliber.
