Civ5 is better, its got hex's.

With WoT, I've found it productive to snipe, stay with groups and pray to whatever gods you worship for safety.

Real men like squares. And a good religion system. And espionage. And a nice civic system.

I've actually found a really nice gun that I like for my tank. A 75mm howitzer. Fun indeed. I've been in 6 matches with the thing and I already have 10 more kills.

EDIT : God damn the match making is bad. I just had to go up against a tier 5 player in my tier 3 tank.

I got him to around 70% before he killed me, so not bad.

Real real men play Advance Wars.

Real men play Axis and Allies.

Real real men know when to STFU. Advance Wars wins hands down, that game is beast.

The last Advance Wars I played was #2 on the Gameboy SP. It was entertaining, but after I beat it once I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me about it, I might play it again. (Heavy Tanks were crazy good.)

My laptop is so slow I can only play as SPGs in WoT.

Never even heard of advance wars before it was mentioned today.

I loved all the advance wars, loved the fire emblem series, and I've got both physical copies of those and the roms so I can play them in MASSIVE FULLSCREEN GLORY.

Its awesome game that didn't get nearly the amount of attention it deserved.
GBA emulators are quite easy to come by now days and the rom should be easy to find. Although one should always try to support developers, Advance Wars is quite old now (It has around 5 sequels), so there shouldn't be too much of a moral issue.

What's the gameplay like?

Basic tile strategy, but... I don't know, try it, I don't think the file would be bigger than CC and it’s certainly worth it.

I'll probably do more research before I play it.

Unfortunately, I made a bad mistake on World of Tanks, and now I cant sell a another tank today. God damn it. Why'd I have to start playing the game at 4 in the morning?

I thought you could sell all the tanks you wanted without restriction?

Also: bad matchmaking? Tier 3 vs Tier 5 is normal. That's just standard tier variation per match.

What's REALLY awful is going up against Tier 8, 9, and 10 tanks in a Tier 4 scout. I've had that happen.
