Game Events The room ahead of them is huge: It's easily 30 meters in width and 20 in height. There's no lighting of any kind within the room, and they can only clearly see about 20 meters into the room. "My sensors are all clear," D announces, as everyone is somewhat apprehensive at the prospect of going into a dark, unknown area. Jackson pulls out a large flashlight and turns it on, shining it into the space ahead and illuminating the floor. "C'mon." The group walks in, sticking close together, weapons at the ready. Jackson occasionally shines the light at the walls or at the ceiling to try and get a better idea of how the room looks, and also to check for any light switches on the walls, but with no luck. When the group is about 50 meters in, well past the area naturally lit up by incoming sunlight, there's a sudden whirring sound that causes everyone to collectively look back. "Oh, tits." The door slams shut, and the light at that end of the room is extinguished like a candle being blown out. The only light comes from Jackson, who is obviously disturbed by the events. "This can't be an AI... someone's screwing with us." A sudden skittering sound makes the group collectively halt. The flashlight beam shines over to where the sound came from, but there's nothing in that area. A similar sound comes from behind them a few seconds later, this one louder. "What the ♥♥♥♥?" someone whispers. Jackson whirls his flashlight around, trying to see what's making the noise, but he can't find anything. "This is bad..." MAP

DSMK2 and Non: You're roughly in the center of the room in terms of width, so the closest walls are about 10 meters away, and the entrance that D wants to back up to is 50 meters away. You may want to rethink your actions and reread the game events.

May I recommend you guys to assume a circular formation?
That way, you can face every direction at once, leaving no chance to be attacked from a angle with no one watching it.
