Questions!

What will we call the game?
Is 7 DMs too many?
What happens if we have not enough DMs or not enough Players?
What will the characters' rolls look like? (Abilities, Inventory, Conditions, Weapons etc)
First, second or third person? (I run over there / You run over there / Bob runs over there)
Past, Present or Future? (ran / runs or running)

I'm just looking for discussion about the answers, not an answer from one person in particular.

7 DM's may be too many IMO maybe a few who would like to be players could switch?

I like a second person or first person with a present tense. I think it makes a more personal impact when you can role play instead of controlling an avatar, which can happen if third person perspective isn't done well, (not that it couldn't be) just my opinions... :)

Nah, we have as many as we want. Of course we need players to match...
I guess up to the DM, but it'd be nice to have a standard format.
Up to the DM. That's really a style thing.

Name... I have no idea. Somebody come up with something.
You can have craploads of players as long as you have a GM for each. Of course, too many players may complicate an attempt to keep a plotline running. I like the idea of FOUR, if you must know.
If we don't have enough players, we have a serious problem. With not enough DM's, one or two DM's can work overtime, (several players) I suppose.
I prefer second person present tense. That's what I use, so it's just personal preference.

lolno. If it's supposed to be somewhat postapocalyptic (like, laser swords are remnants of previous civilization) we could call it RTD: Afterworld. But that's vaguely unoriginal...

I don't really have an answer to the other questions, but, like Nighthawk, I use second person present tense.

Magitech: Frontier
For the character sheet, I propose a culled down version of my fantasy template.
It’s nice to keep everything pretty simple.
Also, the town wasn't literally 'nuked', just destroyed by a large scale battle sweeping through the area.

SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF WE DON'T LIKE IT!

The game is called Magitech: Frontier
We need some DMs to go as players, because e.g. 1 DM can write 2 rolls, but 2 DMs can't write 1 roll.
We will ALL write in Second Person, Present Tense. e.g. (You run up to the tree) - NOT: (He runs up to the tree)
And rolls look like thus:



Flail! I vote you as Lead Narrator, +1 to Game Event write-ups. Because you came up with the story, you must have some idea on how it will progress.

Having a spare DM or generally being willing to mix it up might be wise, in case of schedule conflicts.

Put me down as a player, I'll dust off a couple of old concepts and see what I can come up with in terms of characters...

Will there be laser-guns? Will lasers be deflect-able by the magitech melee weapons? We could make the combat very similar to Star Wars. That would be pretty cool, methinks.
Also, I'm against the use of health potions. We should have healing nanobots, or little droids that float around and patch you up or something like that.

If each DM is going to have a specific job, I think I'd like to come up with the various weaponry. Torrent should totally come up with some hilarious NPCs, as well.

I didn't mean that to sound so mean and imposing, just specific enough to be clear. >_<

I was also entertaining the idea of this being similar to Mega Man Zero etc with the 'Tech Fairies' magic part.

So tech faeries enable magic? I was under the impression it was kinda like in the ME universe, where Biotics could only effectively use "Magic" when tech was helping channel it.
