Re: Map Pack 3 B26 v1.0.0
Long version of RV's comment. Sounds like you installed Cortex Command to the default location of Program Files. Windows, to protect the integrity of installed programs, by default restricts privileges to do things with files in that directory or subdirectories. You should either manually move your Cortex Command folder out of Program Files, or uninstall and reinstall Cortex Command to a new directory not in Program Files.

Will this be updated to B27? I know you're working on the Missions pack, but those seem to be using the same set of maps.

Yes, they will. The mission pack has had most maps modified, Map Pack 3's maps are more optimized for skirmishes. I'll also make them compatible with the campaign if people desire this. Will take a while though. UniTec has priority.

Given the amount of time involved in building nice bases, especially getting the ordering nice for autobuild since it builds in the order you place the modules, and given the number of maps in the mappack, it might be a good idea to take community submissions or somesuch for the autobuilt bases. Maybe people could vote for their favourite layouts, if there are multiple submissions?

Well, since all these maps already have bunkers the only things I will place are brain and soldier locations inside these bunkers.

Re: Map Pack 3 B26 v1.0.0
What about doors, since the AI can be on Team 3 and/or 4 as well? It'd be rather silly to be attacking an enemy base for the first time and have all the doors open for you because you're on Team 1 or 2.

Dunno what to do about those doors to be honest. Maybe I'll just remove them all.

xD
Well, I am open for suggestions. I can leave the doors in and don't assign a team to them, but then everyone will need to break them down, even if it's your own base.

Re: Map Pack 3 B26 v1.0.0
Could be worse, I guess. Now, is the problem that there's some issue with assigning teams to the doors? I think I missed the original problem.

Re: Map Pack 3 B26 v1.0.0
Well, you can play the maps through skirmishes, but you can also play on them during the campaign. Doors on the maps are assigned to player one or two (depending on whose area it is, which you can judge from the red 1 and green 2 signs). Which is neat when playing skirmishes. But when playing the campaign you can't be sure which player will conquer the map. So player 4 could conquer the map and would have doors in his bunker which open for player 1. Meanwhile player 4 can't even get into its own bunker.
I hope that made sense.

Re: Map Pack 3 B26 v1.0.0
Ahh, I gotcha. Uh. Pun not intended. Perhaps you could leave the doors out of the maps, and allow the conquering players to add them in manually? I know I end up renewing doors a lot anyway, just because they have this strange habit of getting destroyed by invading forces.

Yeah, I'll create some custom 'place your door here' thingies or something.
