Hey guys, this is my first mod, it has no actors but it improves most Ronin weapons or at least makes them more futuristic. I still have some work to do in terms of spriting and the like, but updates will follow.

UPDATE! New Sprites and Digger!

Ronin Weapons

AK-47 - This is a resprited version of the AK made to look more futuristic, it also has lots of little improvements around the board that make it like a whole new weapon.

AK-74 - Submachine gun version of the AK-47, slightly weaker but able to be held with one hand.

AK-103 - Bigger version of the AK-47, Stronger, little less accurate and a box magazine.

AK-MG - This is where it gets fictional, the AK-MG is a huge machine gun AK, it has immensely powerful bullets but lots of recoil and is extremely inaccurate. It works best when laying down or with your back on a wall.

AK-SR - A weird fully automatic sniper rifle that I will probably weaken soon. It needs to be held by a heavy actor however, because of the huge recoil.

Re-Enabled the Bazooka and Tommy Gun from past releases... just because I like them.

P90 - Low damage but good accuracy and a really high rate of fire. Usually kills people form their woundlimit before their health.

E90 - Future version of the P90, its black and a bit better, with a box magazine.

Glock 18 and 23 - Just my attempts to make some sidearms for this game that don't suck. For some weird reason I made them fire dark green bullets, but they kill just as well.

New Thumper - I improved the thumper to a 6 shot grenade launcher that doesn't look like its from the cold war.

M2 Flamethrower - not only is it a ronin flamethrower, but its also a handgun! Thats right, its a fire spraying pistol clear out a bunker as well as your wallet.

M16 - Improved it a little with a tiny bit more mass to the bullets, and a box magazine. Also added optics for slightly longer range. Also looks better.

Kar-98 - No improvements, just resprited it to look more modern.

M1 Garand - new sprite, will probably be updated in the future.

Rpg - 2 - Like the old RPG - 7 but more powerful, I know 2 is lower than 7... I just picked a number.

Pumpgun - Small improvements and a new sprite, all of a sudden shotguns don't suck as much.

Slug Cannon - Based on the coalition revolver cannon but is more expensive and also improved.

FutureTechnology Works Weapons

Future Technology Works is a Ronin based corporation that sells the weapons of the future. Right now they only sell mass accelerator weaponry. Mass acceleration technology is basically taking a small particle and accelerating it to an extreme velocity. They aren't as damaging as cartridge based weapons, but they have longer range, don't need to be reloaded, have MASSIVE penetration and are filled with glowy goodness (thanks in part to Gotcha! and Coops9753), and they are all extremely lightweight. Unfortunately they are expensive, rather fragile and extremely volatile when broken. The weapons are as follows:

Mass Acceleration Assault Rifle - good rate of fire, big bullets, pretty expensive.

Mass Acceleration Submachine gun - good rate of fire, smallish bullets, medium price and low-medium accuracy.

Mass Acceleration Rifle - The cheapest Mass Acceleration weapon, it has good range, good accuracy medium rate of fire and big bullets.

Mass Acceleration Sniper - It has a very big bullet, great range and accuracy, big pricetag and lotsa recoil.

Mass Acceleration Cannon - None of the Ronin can actually hold it, you need at least browncoats. Some ronin may be able to hold it while laying down though. Ill let you figure out what it does.

pictures are a requirement for forum mods and yes i know you have pictures but you need to download them i recommend you post photos on the forum page cause its a pain in the butt to download all the pictures especially with Google chrome and its weird ways of downloading pictures. so please post you're photos on the page even though you are not breaking the forum rules. it will just save alot of peoples time who wants to know what the guns look like without having to download crap.

I would have only uploaded the Mass Accelerator parts of the mod, otherwise it's just minor mod dump for resprited vanilla weapons.

Otherwise, the concept of the mass accelerators having immense penetration seems interesting. If it doesn't rape terrain, and just bunker walls, that could be very useful. The sprites could use improvement, though. They look mostly like orange rectangles with little detail. I would suggest looking around in here for some tips on shading and such.

Ill work on my spriting. the rest is not simply resprited vanilla content, but also adds many guns and edits almost all of them to bring the ronins a little up to speed when taking on the coalition. I also have plans for actors and the like if someone would be willing to help me.

Don't make mods that edit the original game files unless it's vital to the mod.
Make a standalone .rte for it, allright?

I wont in the future, but this is meant as an improvement mod, not an add on. Its made so that its easily compatible with scenes and the like. If you want it to be separate just rename the .rte. :)

Renaming the .rte would cause errors because the mod's .ini files depend on the .rte's name.

Changing the .rte name would mean going into every .ini file and changing the filepaths.

oh yeah, I forgot, well if you guys like I can make a folder with all the .rte completely changed in all the filepaths, I already did it for FTW

In case you didnt know...

Essentially, a newer AK-47 (not SMG-esque - there is AKs for that).
Jusst to point out.

Yes, and so are the ak 74, ak 103, and m16 to name a few, they're just meant to be newer upgraded models

I think he was talking about this part, and although there are a lot of short barrel AK's, the 74 isn't one of them.(47 fires 7.62 rounds, while the 74 fires 5.56.) The Ak74-U however is a CARBINE version.

About the mod, it's okay, same thing as everybody else though, had to install CC again just to test it. And the sprites are a bit meh and flat.
