Don't reveal any spoilers if you don't want to, I don't mind. Just say like.
The story sucked, or the gameplay sucked, or they did X wrong. Know what I mean.
I only played a little bit of it, and if it really does suck I won't bother finishing it.

Well I've looked it up and the coop ending is different to the singleplayer ending so you should be fine anyway
But the coop ending is
not even an ending
nothing ends at all

you complete a perfectly normal level then are treated to a view of your guys walking along a street, there is a voiceover and a picture of a car and then the credits roll

So the ending was stupid?
But otherwise it's okay?

The atmosphere/scary bits make it worth a try if you like that sort of stuff, but if you want a good story or gameplay, egh. Then again I only played the coop, maybe the single player's vastly better somehow.

The gameplay was bland, jumping between trivial and ludicrously punishing (mostly due to ammo constraints and the default weapons it respawns you with if you die, sometimes it will tell you to fight giant zombies with only a stick and not let you proceed until thy are dead), the mechanics were stupid (we were stuck for ages in the first level because we did not kill a certain enemy that only spawned after we passed a certain point in the map and that spawned behind us) and after an hour the AI started to break so that certain enemies would just stand still and not attack.
The forums said that restarting the game would reboot the AI but it never did, so for the last few levels half of the enemies didn't work and just stared blankly at us, while the other half shot eachother and commited suicide

Oh and there was one boss halfway through and never any more bosses ever again

Yup so I decided not to play it.
So instead, I played NEO Scavenger demo.
It's pretty ♥♥♥♥ hard for a flash game, and pretty awesome. Not unlike STALKER or Fallout.
It's in beta right now, waiting for release.

Yeah, it's pretty hard. I like to imagine it as a text RPG version of STALKER sort of. Except a little bit more futuristic.
When I get ten bucks, I'm going to support the dev.
