This is my SPC1000 (scrap parts computer 1000), let me guide you through.
Firstly, you see me turn on the psu, and some pretty lights come on.
Then, I jump the power pins and the fans start to spin.
The mobo display counts through each process up to 7F, which requires a keypress on the bios (but I don't have a keyboard and even if I did I don't have a screen to read what it says anyway).
Then I show you 'round all my scrap pieces I made it from, including my hard disk, my cd drive and my graphics card.
Not shown: me turning it off with the same headphone jack. It looks like the thing just dies but I did actually turn it off. also the psu is really dark and you can't really see me flick the power switch on it at the end, but you hear it.

Current specs:
Motherboard - Abit ap7 pro
Processor - Intel of unknown model
RAM - 2 sticks of unknown quantity, and 2 more sticks of yet more unknown quantity.
Graphics card - ATI Radeon X600
Hard disk drive - 40GB
Disk drive - ...yeah it's a disk drive.

At first, that seemed to be the notebook one. Then further research indicates that its either a notebook card, or a legacy device.

Probably both somehow.
