Re: Reload Animations
Arcalane is right, it would be a waste of time and effort, for both devs and modders. Not to mention that some guns (i.e - ubercannon) won't be possible to reload whilst shouldered. (as far as I can see, they would need to be brought down and held parallel to the body or something - at the least. And making it look good would require even more effort)

Re: Reload Animations
IT´S simple if you clarify that you are talking about a title of a game because friendly-fire its an option on most FPS shooters that make you take or give damage from your team or friends

Re: Reload Animations
I'm not sure you're quite grasping the amount of work required for what is otherwise an extremely trivial feature. Lua is not magic, despite jokes to the contrary. -- FoxTop wrote: You are right,if the reload animations where from walkpaths the ini file will be realy large only for a minor feature . Text file sizes are trivial, to be honest, and they compress well. Thing is, you're still looking at one sequence per gun. Given the number of stock weapons so far, nevermind mods, a fairly significant amount of work would have to go into it, because Cortex Command simply doesn't use animations the way other games do. The closest we get are spinning barrels, depleting magazines, and so on. Kettenkrad also raises a valid point about weapons that would require other stances to reload. Adding them to every weapon and making them look good would require vast amounts of time that could be better spent on other projects.

Re: Reload Animations
I think we can all agree that reload animations aren't going to happen, and this thread isn't going anywhere, so I'm going to go and lock this. Good day!
