You realise the futility of staying out of eyesight from the six heads before you even try. Still concentrating on the heads however, you fail to notice its tail speeding towards you, and after a short flight end up being stopped by a cushion of sand near the opposite wall. You look up to see Ulysses comically embedded in the wall itself, and would laugh if you couldn't see the single bloodied tear rolling down his face. You hate seeing a grown man cry.

Dashing towards its toes alongside the Iron Mauler, you raise your hammer, only to see it raise its foot and take a step forward, right onto the both of you. You’re both pinned and bruised, but at least you’re not dead.

Nonsequitorian\Ulysses= 4
Trying to get back onto your feet, you are hit once again by the tail. This time however you are flung horizontally into the opposite wall with a bone crunching thrunchk.
Fortunately these bones are not yours, the walls appear to be made of them, but by no means does this mean you're not hurt. You have a couple of broken ribs, a fractured jaw and you bit your tongue. You produce a single tear that rolls off your face and soundlessly hits the sand below.

TheKebbit\Iron Mauler= 2
Trying to assist Mulch, you find yourself pinned under the Hydras foot. You attempt to free yourself by stabbing it with a large spike in your armour, but all that accomplishes is the screams of a couple of heads and a trickle of pink blood splattering your armour. Although anything has to be better than flower petals, right?

Huntsman\Henry= 15
You nook your bow and scrabble back, just in time to see everyone else get decimated the hydras foot and tail. You should really do something about your knee, but you'd need a high strength potion to fix it entirely, and a botched job with the stuff you have on you could lead to long term injury. You remember John has a couple of Limb repair potions that would do fine, and turn to see him 50 or so meters away half buried in sand. That could take a while.

Nighthawk\Mir Swiftclaw= 1
You throw your stone, but only manage to clip the Steam head across the face. Just as you catch the stone however you are thrown back 10 or so meters by the Hydras tail. Trying to get to your feet, you are blown back by a retaliatory attack of steam, fortunately at this range it’s just a warm mist and you are only soaked through and through. Unfortunately you have caught the attention of the Electricity head.

Well that was an interesting roll, better something like that happens now than in the middle of some sort of boss fight.
Anyway, I'll switch back to my other dice, maybe I'll use a new table as well. And a new room. And a small blood sacrifice.

This looks quite enjoyable.

Name: Kythen Meertreg
Description: Kythen is one of the few thousand or so Lizzen (Race of lizard-folk) left. After most of their race was destroyed by a deadly plague, most surviving Lizzen returned home to help rebuild their what was left of their race. Kythen is five foot twelve in height, with blue scales covering his entire body. Was once a combat medic in the glorious Lizzen military. Wears a padded leather cloak over his scales.
Weapons:
- Clockwork Rifle
- Trench Knife
Items:
- 3x Health potions
- Pack lunch
- Medkit (Reusable healing item. +3 to healing rolls when out of combat. +1 to healing rolls when in combat.)
Traits\Abilities
T- Medic (+1 to roles involving the healing of wounds)
T- Natural Armor (Due to the Lizzen having a natural set of armor, Kythen has a larger chance to avoid serious injury from being struck than others.)
A- Overclock (Sets rifle to the "Overclocked" setting. +3 to attack rolls. Rifle unusable for the following 3 turns.)

Would an old-fashioned firearm be acceptable in a setting like this?
