You hit the call button on your phone, just to be bombarded with a blinking "No signal."


Peter returns shortly with a paper cup full of water and hands it to you.

You take the opportunity to ask a quick question.

"Peter, does your cell have service right now?"

"Uh, no. I lost signal just a couple seconds ago. One of the cell towers must be down or something I guess. Why, is your phone down too?"

"Yeah, it is... Mind if I use the one on your desk?"

"Go right ahead, boss."


You pick up the phone and dial Katrina's number.

"We're sorry. Your request can not be processed at this time. Please try again later."


Of course! Katrina's cell wouldn't be working either.

You still see the alleyway you thought you saw Heather run down and, after pocketing your phone, walk towards it.
You give the poor, suffering man one last glance before bolting down the alleyway at top speed.

You reach the other side and see that the world is going quite normally on this busy road. Hundreds of people can be seen driving or walking down this road - it's an impossible quest to try to find her here.

Funnily enough, it's not a second later when you turn around to see Heather sitting next to a building sobbing her little heart out.
