The crouching figure seems to only move by swaying slightly from side to side. Getting a running start, you leap off another building and then another, jumping another two houses. The figure is about 6 buildings away now.

Waiting in the shadows for a sentry to walk past you, you lunge at him with a punch aiming at his throat, but it instead grazes the side of his metal helm. The soldier shouts out in surprise and quickly retaliates by unsheathing a sword on his belt and stabbing you in the gut, but your mail protects you from any damage.
The guards have noticed you by now and are running towards you from the manor, but there's a clear street behind you to escape.
