Post TBS: Hardening
TBS: Hardening

--------

This is a Turn Based Strategy style game.
There Will be 4 players.
Each player controls one Batch of 7 Command Gestalts directly.
Players can also give orders to the units that start around them, which will be 75 Gestalts, 15 Golems and 3 Tanks.
Enemy units will remain hidden from view unless a friendly unit has direct line of sight on them.

----

Image

The above image shows the units on the players force, from top to bottom they are:
Gestalts
Standard Clone Bodies with a basic full body Barrier, Most are armed with a Blaster Rifle but some have anti armour Particle Cannons, little more than cannon fodder most of the time, but they can take down opponents with sheer massed numbers.
Golems
Large Humanoid creatures made from a dense crystalline material, capable of launching bolts of Kinetic Force, but their main offensive power comes from their bladed arms, a few are Heavy Variants and can fire lances of cutting force as well as being tougher, designed as an anti infantry assault unit, and effective at that, their anti armour capacity is not to be laughed at either but is not their main strength.
Command Gestalts
Advanced versions of standard Gestalts, can use a wide variety of detection abilities, and the ability disintegrate matter at short range, also armed with Auto Blasters a more powerful version of the Blaster Rifle, some carry Particle Lances which can tear through heavy armour with sustained fire, effective against the majority of opponents, their only real weakness is a vunerability to heavier armoured targets.
Tanks
Light Hover Tanks armed with an Ion Cannon in the main turret and a Twin Auto Blaster in a smaller secondary turret, capable of taking down hostile infantry with ease, require usage in groups to take down hostile armour.

Also shown in the image is a small building with two windows in its top and bottom, a door on its left and right, two tanktraps to its left and a small barricade to its right

Feel free to ask any questions about the rules/map if you have them

--------

You are commanding a Binary of Terran Gestalt Empire forces against an unknown composition of Hayreddin Industries Forces.
Your sole task is to eliminate the hostile forces as soon as possible.

Turn 1:

Your Squad has been deployed on the northern edge of the combat area.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7/7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [25]
-Squad 2: [50]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

Roast Veg
You have just engaged command of the northern half of the Central column
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [50]
-Squad 2: [25]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

CaveCricket48
The Southern central section of the deployment is under your command.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [40]
-Squad 2: [35]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

Ragdollmaster
You are in command of the Southern flank of this battle.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7/7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [40]
-Squad 2: [35]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

Notes:
There isn't going to be a waiting list.
Your tanks can move slightly faster than your other units, all of your other units move at the same speed.
Tanks are slowed slightly when moving over tanktraps because they interfere with the hover engines.
when an enemy unit is seen i'll give a brief description of its combat capabilities and weapons.

> Move Gestalts east past the barriers and form a wall of soldiers covering the space in between those northern and southern structures.

Move Golems in a vertical line, sitting just west of the Gestalts.

Bottom-most tank goes straight east, other tanks follow it.

Command squad sits tight in the tank trap field.

Consolidate my troops into 3 squads, consisting of 1/3 my total non-command troops each.

Have all squads move towards the next building. Place 2 squads in the buildings, with the tanks sitting a little back. Have one squad conduct reconnaissance another building forward

Turn 2:

Image

Tomaster
Your Units move into some of the Buildings further forwards with the Tanks hanging back ready to provide covering fire.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7/7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [25]
-Squad 2: [25]
-Squad 3: [25]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

Roast Veg
Your units move forwards, Gestalt squad moving straight through a building, windows aren't really much of a obstruction when you have guns.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [50]
-Squad 2: [25]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

CaveCricket48
Your Golems and Gestalts move into a defensive wall formation while your Tanks move forwards.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [7]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [75]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [15]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

Ragdollmaster
Your forces split up with some of your Command Gestalts climbing onto the back of your Tanks, not exactly a safe position to be in, but it sure is faster than walking.
Command Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [1/1]
-Squad 2: [2/2]
-Squad 3: [2/2]
-Squad 4: [2/2]
Gestalts:
-Squad 1: [40]
-Squad 2: [35]
Golems:
-Squad 1: [5]
-Squad 2: [5]
-Squad 3: [5]
Tanks:
-Tank 1
-Tank 2
-Tank 3

Notes:
Added a grid that should help with orders.
The Red line above the map shows Gestalt/Golem move distance, the Orange line Shows Tank move distance, these are approximate, not exact.
Units have been colour coded for convenience.
Moving through windows leaves your units more vulnerable to incoming fire, Golems can only move through Large windows.

>Have Command Gestalts 2, 3, 4, and 5 dismount the tanks and stay behind them but in front of the Golems so they can still use their detection abilities effectively

>Send Tank 1 forward/to the East, stay grouped with Cave's three Tanks

>Send Tanks 2 and 3 and their massed squads forward/to the East

>Send Command Gestalts 6 and 7 and Golem Squad 3 to E14 to keep them covered but in a position to provide reinforcements if necessary

Recon squad to M3. Have the other squads prepared to back them up if they encounter resistance.
