Re: RtD-Classic Adventure|Roll 3
Roll 4
Huntsman\Henry= 5 "Well, I'm sorry about this inconvenience and all, but do you guys want to continue with this cave?" Before anyone says a word, you run down the corridor ahead, crying like a little girl.
Nonsequitorian\Ulysses= 16-5 = 11 "My friend, I let you keep the weapon. You are not my property, so what you bear is not my property. Everything else in the crate, however..." You are unable to finish your sentence as the elf is already half way down the next corridor. Shrugging and pocketing the dagger, you turn your attention to the chest. It contains a small broken mirror, a half filled wash basin, a half-eaten piece of wood and a jar filled with... you decide not to open or take the jar. With little else to do you follow the elf.
TorrentHKU\John= 5 You reach for the potions, before realising you had already them. In the brief confusion that realisation brought, you manage to drop one, well done. Your mood somewhat tarnished, you follow everyone else down the hall.
TheKebbit\Iron Mauler= 15 *muttered curse* You follow the elf down the hallway looking for something to kill, or failing that, the elf.
maart3n\Mulch= 13 Putting on a big grin you run down the hallway after the others.
Game Event After a few twists and turns our heroes come to a set of smashed doors, and what appears to be a huge circular room. At the very centre of the room sits the boulder from earlier, the floor is covered entirely with white sand and the only source of illumination come from the blue torches on the walls, strange lights and shadows dance across the carvings on the walls. Someone might learn a great deal about the purpose of such a place by observing any one of those peculiarities, but that would be a waste of time, considering the implications of grandstands, cheering skeletons and the steel grate that slid down behind you. On the other side of the room lies another iron grating with several sets of red eyes glaring at the potential meals that walked into the room.
You have a few momments before the gates open.

Roll 5 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
maart3n\Mulch= 6 "Get ready, this is gonna get fun." As the gate glides open and the wolves pour out, you throw one of your axes at the closest skeletons. The axe flies true and hits the skeleton square in the face, as the now inanimate pile of bones fall to the ground the surrounding skeletons merely laugh and throw the axe back to you. A wolf then tackles you to the ground.
TorrentHKU\John= 16+1 =17 With the gates open, and the wolves fast approaching, you unleash a fearsome roar and raise your shield. 2 of the several wolves lunge at you, but are both knocked back by your shield, quickly retaliating you make a lunge forward, deeply cutting one in the flank. Both of the wolves fall back and are now attempting to surround you, although one is heavily limping.
TheKebbit\Iron Mauler= 16+2(Black Drink) =18 Pulling out the Black Drink you take a hearty swig and ready your sword. As a wolf takes a lunge towards you, you decide to make a move even the wolf didn't expect, you punch it straight in the face. As the wolf falls back cold, you smile to yourself, that felt good.
Nonsequitorian\Ulysses= 14 You listen. Wolves, you defiantly hear wolves, the gates open and the wolves pour out. One particular wolf singles you out and leaps, only to be hit straight through the eyes with a well plumed arrow.
Huntsman\Henry= 20 "COME YOU DOGS, MEET YOUR END." You knock no less than three arrows to your bow and let loose. You take out three wolves with that one shot, the one pinning Mulch, the one attacking Ulysses, and one final one running towards you. Half way through knocking another arrow, a second wolf appears in your corner of vision. Spinning, you quickly draw your bow back to its full extent, too quickly it turns out, the string snaps. Grunting with displeasure, you throw the bow aside while sprinting to meet the wolf, clashing, it takes only seconds for you to kill the wolf in unarmed combat.
The crowed cheers, greatly amused by this terrific piece of entertainment, a few items land at your feet. Obtained- Bone Breaker Bow (+1, Other unknown effects) Obtained- 40 gold Obtained- 20 exp A potion or two are thrown as well, even though they shatter on the ground you appreciate the sentiment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Game Events Mulch is pinned under a wolf. John is still fighting two wolves. The Iron Mauler has one unconscious wolf Ulysses is listening to the dying wolf. Henry is basking in glory.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any problems with how I'm running this so far? Please feel free to speak up.

Wasn't the wolf pinning me dead?
Use a trowing dagger to kill the wolf, hammer is of no use at this point.

Re: RtD-Classic Adventure|Roll 5
Roll 6 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Huntsman\Henry= 10-5 =5 Pulling out your dagger you go help the dwarf with the dead wolf pinning him. Several seconds trying to hack the wolf in half with the dagger results only with the realisation that cutting a wolf in half is quite difficult.
maart3n\Mulch= 3 Struggling under the large wolf you think you see the elf coming to aid you, instead he just hacks into it with a knife. The amount of blood that is coming from the wolf is almost shocking, as pints of it fall down onto your face you manage to choke on some, drowning in wolf blood does not sound like a good death.
TorrentHKU\John= 16+2 =18 After a small growl the wounded wolf goes to make a move, before being almost cut in half by your sword, you turn just in time to see the other wolf be destroyed by The Iron Mauler.
TheKebbit\Iron Mauler= 12+2(BDx1 more turn) = 14 With a fearsome roar you charge and decapitate Johns other wolf with one blow of your sword. You give John a smile and a nod.
Nonsequitorian\Ulysses= 6 "Don't try to be a hero, work together people. These things will get you from your back if you aren't careful." You attempt to count the number of remaining wolves. "One, two... six, seven..." There was one more wolf, you're sure of it. A wolf then crash tackles you from behind, well done.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Game Events Mulch is still pinned under a wolf. John has just finished off the wounded wolf. The Iron Mauler hears a small whimper from the previously unconscious wolf. Ulysses has been tackled by the last wolf. Henry is oblivious to the fact Mulch is almost drowning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok, cool, any suggestions then?
