Also, on the topic of chiptunes, you guys might enjoy hearing some stuff by Josiah Tobin/Bit_Rat. As far as I know, very few people have heard of him, but he's got some really good stuff on his site (for free, too). In particular, in his latest album, Test Subject 2, he combines guitar and chiptunes, and he really nails it:
