Well that's kind of the definition of a phase. You're kind of buying into a fad. Well when did you take an interest in ponies? Last year? In a year or so, it'll all just be dust in the wind. I'm sure you've gone through a lot of other phases too.
You'll still like the game, but you won't obsess over it like right now.

Uh, just a heads up (I think I see a pattern coming on): don't confuse an argument with a break-up or something like that. I recently re-found one of my Fave bands during my Highschool time which i was totally unaware about had released a new album.

Pretty good summary. I actually expect in a week or two we'll be done with Crippled People Dating Sim but it could surprise me and last longer. Other games have lasted longer and also shorter, like Cosumic Breaku.

Hmm, I'm sure it's more of a fad for some people, but for me at least I'll be watching mlp until they stop making episodes (or it somehow becomes extremely bad). Trust me in that I'd say it was a fad if it wouldn't have been going for over a year now and garnered such a widespread response and following.

In other news, I bought Planescape: Torment this week. I had literally no idea what it was about going into it. So far it's been equally interesting and confusing. I've never played this kind of old-school RPG before. It seems like I attract violence wherever I go, and no-one cares if I get slashed to bits by a band of thugs in broad daylight on a crowded street. I suppose it builds character.

My favourite RPG ever has got to be Divinity 2.

Because I can walk around as a person, or just go "♥♥♥♥ it" and turn into a dragon.

That and a quest where you can eat people who were turned into vegetables.
