Handsome lovely gentleman And I'm working on yet another one of these landscapes Sly-UX1XN wrote: Please give feedback.
Your characters have really short legs and lack depth, the soldier is nice but he too suffers from bad anatomy. Drawing on lined paper makes everything look like a classroom doodle.

This is about first thing I've made that wasn't a simple resprite or recolor: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17100818/Lizardmen.PNGThree years old now. But yeah, just practice and practice untill you're good at it. (sorry for any possible eyeburn caused by this)

Re: Art Dump
Doodle? Oh god you said the D-word. Now i must post links to amazingly ugly doodle dumps. Only links though, because i won't be held liable for any ocular injury caused by black-on-white lines painted by a finger on a touchscreen. Here, here and here. Click at your own risk. Or don't, since your first thought would probably be to set my face on fire. To counter eventual burns to your corneas, gaze upon madmax's super good stuff. I'm positive that it could actually reverse eyeburns caused even by something as corrosive as my doodles, leaving your sight better than ever. On a different, less self-chastising note, could this pass for a dirt floor seen from above? Tile size is 32x32 (tiled 3x3 times), made for a game in development. I'm aware of the tiling not being perfect, but at least it's actually hard to distinguish the exact position of each tile (for my eyes anyways, the faint grid that is visible is displaced from the actual tile borders). Pointers/tips welcome, as long as you're not an ass about it. I really need to learn how to texture properly.

Re: Art Dump
There's a huge blank spot created by the 32x32 tiles in the corners. Move it around a bit and it'll even out.
