How can I modify the AI view? It happened to me many times that I shoot an enemy and he simply stands still without responding to fire. It would be great the contrary: the enemies shoot me before I can see them.

This is an issue with resolution- it is usually fine on the lower res, but on higher ones you see farther than they can.

I hope so. Then, is it possible to increase the dropship's range? I'm using b26 and I remember that in the previous build I could call dropships all around the map. Now I can only have reinforcements near the brain.

I could have sworn I saw that it changed with resolution earlier.

I bet there is a way to change the range, but I don't know how...

I was kind of wondering if there was a way to change the AI so that it automatically sees/knows the presence of an enemy if it gets shot.
Guy who lands first shot still gets an advantage, but at least the AI can retaliate somewhat.
(But then there's the issue of the AI flailing around with flamers, diggers, and other close range weaponry)

I think if an actor is shot by someone outside their range, they should either dive to the ground, or fly up, depending on their stats and surrounding materials. Also, jetpack AI needs improved.

However the AI view is a minor "bug", but for the dropship's range can we do anything?

Unfortunately the brain "clear path to orbit" is hard-coded right now, but you can edit the maps .lua file to change where player 1 can land. It was done on the Brutality mod if you need an example.

Which is the best mod ever, seriously, get it.

But back to the topic, he was not talking about the "clear path to orbit", although I hate that, of course its for balance, but come on, I liked it better when you could just place the brain anywhere and have fun shooting people!
