That game looks awesome. God I love those isometric graphics of back then; Age of Empires, Stronghold, Caesar 3, Cossacks, American Conquest... So many memories

Wow, I'm surprised somebody still remembers GSC's excellent strategy games!
Also, I just got Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors working in widescreen a few days back. Anyone wanna play?

Yeah, I played loads of Cossacks and AC. Still used to play AC LAN from time to time up until not so long ago. I even forgot to mention the awesome Blitzkrieg series (although those were done by Nival Interactive). Never played Silent Storm though.

I'd love to play some AoE2 (having a little lan with some friends on it today actually), but since the Zone mp networking service thingamajingy got taken down I think all there is is Hamachi (which can be very laggy) as well as a few matchmaking services, but I'm not sure what those are again. Gonna have to look into that soon...

Gameranger is actually pretty darn good for playing AoE2 online.
Also, since we're both from Europe, I don't think latency would be a problem even with Hamachi.

Thats just a image of the planet side. The space scenes look pretty awesome too. Cinematics are also in the game, if you can get them to run.

I just blew up the power supply of my second computer, which made the house blow a fuse (well, flip a switch thingy but whatever), which sucks, but even worse is my mum ran in and saw me trying to remove it with a screw driver, now I'm perma banned from even opening my computer case, which again sucks. This means if i even want to add another hard drive or something, I'll have to pay around $20 to just get it installed I'd ask Ket to do it, but he'd probably charge me $10 anyway. Now I'm left sitting here with a perfectly good PC, (with the win8 beta just installed too) and I can't touch it

My machine just shut it self down due to lack of memory. I was playing X3TC, so that explains that. But unfortunately, my save is 25 minutes old and the game only auto saves when you dock at a station.

I don't dock at stations.

I've managed to make a small trading company though. I've got 1 small trading ship and 7 super freighters. I've got around 49 million credits in my cash, and another 20 million in value of ships and goods.

I got most of the money to start my company up by boarding pirate ships and selling them.

And now I've just found out why I can't seem to find any missions in game, even plot ones. Stupid mod broke the god damned mission section of the game. Unfortunately, it can't be removed without removing the game, and every other GOOD addon I have.
