Tinypic stores the image file as the extension it should be, but the reference (the gibberish before the extension in the URL) is extension-independent. You can put anything you like after the . (or even remove it entirely) and it'll still work.

Not nearly as cute as the other saurus.

Must be the scales doing that. Or the REALLY PRONOUNCED NOSTRIL. In any case, be glad i didn't color the eye pitch black, because that was downright scary. I also tried with shiny bead eye and adding a pupil, but the blank circle fits best, oddly.
