Found some inspiration to draw in my sketchbook today (It’s been neglected for a while) and I thought it turned out pretty well.

It’s really my first time doing anything close to cartoon/chibi/whatever styled art, and I think playing with the style helped me unlock a bit of the secret to drawing hair. I’m still hopelessly lost with it though.

The top-left portrait is more or less a copy of a wonderful piece drawn by a friend of mine.

Those are nice MLC, particularly the top left one.

Here's a bunch of sketches I did over the past couple of weeks, learning how to draw them ponies (cause I need pictures, pictures of ponies!)




I know some of the top ones are slightly creepy in the face... Still getting the hang of it.
Can you tell I like Applejack?

Really good though, they look a lot like they do in the cartoon.

My early attempts were unsatisfactory, but I shall prevail...

Also, i managed to doodle something on my phone that, surprisingly, didn't make my eyeballs explode instantaneously.

Tinypic stores the image file as the extension it should be, but the reference (the gibberish before the extension in the URL) is extension-independent. You can put anything you like after the . (or even remove it entirely) and it'll still work.
