So, Game of Thrones. Who watches it or reads the books?

I watched the first season of the show, and I'm reading the books now.

Haha, I've watched the series ofcourse (must watch for anyone with even the slightest liking for fantasy really) and loved it. It's great that it doesn't go overboard with mythical creatures, constant use of magic and all that. I like how it's often believably medieval, things like magic, dragons and other, more mystical beasts being rare or people not even being sure of their existence. It makes it that much more awesome when they do show up. Not to 'bash' books/series that do more prominently feature those things at all, it's rather a slightly different sort of fantasy which I enjoy just as much but for slightly different reasons.

Needless to say I'm dying to see season 2, but for some reason I don't feel that inclined to read the books. Not yet anyways.

I'm reading book 3 now, haven't yet watched the first season, only some few episodes.
