Re: WHAT YOU GET FOR CHRISTMAS. A box of 12 assorted Russian novels from my grandparents, Including the 250 dollar hardcover first edition of Roadside Picnic. (Not sure where the grandparents got it.)
A box filled with 1030 banana-mango gumballs. (Not really a Christmas present, got it a week before the actual holiday.)
430 Dollars. (Parents decided to let me buy what I wanted. They had no idea what to get me, so they just gave me the money they set aside for presents. That, added with the 130 I got from relatives, ended with me having 430 dollars to spend however I wished.)
Used the money to buy:
50 Dollars worth of Steam games.
A two handed Machete Katana.
A gas mask.
An expensive eyepatch.
A steampunk pocket watch.
And a monocle.
