I wanted to achieve a very light color. Edit; Also, Just drew a self portrait. Spitting these things out it seems. Feeling artsy. Too damn much Monster I guess.

Pretty nice! The eyes in particular strike me as being very well made. Also, made some shiny vepons for lulz. Tried to make them look viable in a battle too. I know the spear would normally get stuck on all the organs at once, but this is intentional. I handwave that fact with does-not-get-stuck magic.

It seems sort of contradictory to say "I wanted these to be practical" and then "I handwaved this with magic" in the same description :U

Quite so. It wouldn't be me if i didn't include some kind of silly element. (in other words, keyword "tried", couldn't think of a cool design with a smooth tip) @Duh: Oh yes, totally. There are some perks when the word "artifact" is involved. :U (else i will assume it's made of aluminium and only a mighty warrior can wield it properly) @Non: Thanks mate! Also yeah, now that you mention it, it does look rather heavy. Forgot that spears usually have wooden handles, i guess.

It's a very short spear. But at least you know it's deadly?

Only the top is drawn, because i am a lazy man. :U (and because the head is the most interesting part of a spear) The handle is placed a bit oddly though, i'll give you that. I was thinking that it was adjustable by rotating it (making the metal spiral/straight in the process), but that's kind of silly. IT SHOULD BE FURTHER DOWN. I shall make the necessary adjustments soon. Edit: Right here it is in full length, which corresponds to nearly 2 meters. I'm still not educated on weapon ergonomics, but at least it makes a tiny bit more sense now.

I can never ever ever get good colors for my art. It's so frustrating. Anyone have any palettes I could use?

I usually grab a base colour from a reference picture of what I am trying to draw, tinker with it a bit and then get the shades through trial and error >_> If I don't use a reference picture I have to do the whole thing through trial and error but I am colour blind so this doesn't always work, I coloured a batch of red, white and purple Union Jacks once when I was in Primary School :)

If I was fully achromatic there'd be no way I could have drawn anything at all :V I just have protanopia so orange/red/pink/brown/green/purple/blue tend to blur together a bit
