I am never in werewolf mode, because:
- damage is way, WAY lower than attacks with decent weapons (for my characters anyway)
- you can't run away and throw some healing spells around when hurt
- you can't pick up stuff
- people freak out

But the disease immunity is very nice. :roll:

And a character at level 81 with good gear is already unstoppable. I am running around in Master difficulty, owning the world. :???:
Bethesda can't ever find balance in difficulty, but I can forgive them this one. It's hard to accomplish such a thing in an open world.
Although, in my opinion, giants, mammoths and ancient dragons should always remain insanely tough, even when at level 81. To keep the player on his toes. Having giants always insta-kill you with a direct hit wouldn't be bad at all.

There's a mod for dragons that does make them substantially more powerful. It add new dragons, aswell as on its hard setting it triples a dragons health and increases its damage by 80%.

As far as I understand the werewolf transformation, increases your stats
but forbids you to use items or skills... in low levels its very useful when you
want to have some happy-hunting, but it is not even closely a reliable power
when you reach high levels (+50) when you depend on gear, I'll give you that.

BUT:
- The damage my werewolf does its incredibly high and fast (3 claw attack per second)
plus the awesome stun-back hit if you press booth mouse clicks at same time...
- Fatalities are gruesomely fun!
- You don't need to run away like a deer if you can eat the remains of your victims :???:
- There's no need of insta-pick up all the stuff of the bodies because the people run for their lives.
- Wouldn't you freak out by seeing a huge wolf-kind abomination?

About the giants, they're not giant enough to call themselves giants, anyone seen "Trollhunters"?
That's how giants should be, giantic size! not like Yao Ming-s :sad:

I like werewolf form, but later levels, I don't use it for combat. I use it to fulfill my fantasies of murdering an entire town for absolutely no reason. Also, I use it for the resist disease perk. It's really nice. Also werewolf form is the fastest way to travel. And with the Hircine Ring, you can reach any destination without hassle.


SPENT A DAY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE ESBERN GLITCH. ALL OF MY RAGE. So I got a generic BSA extractor, and moved the Esbern files. Viola, problem solved.

YES, thats what i've been looking for, it gets really boring killing dragons in one hit. Duel akavarii katanas (each do over 100 damage) are awesome for just walking through a room of guys without missing a step, but dragons should take more than one power attack.

Also, being a werewolf is badass. Eg, I was walking along a road around one in the morning and came across this priest. He claimed he was looking for werewolves to kill and asked if i knew where some might be. I said that there was one close by. He said how close by. I said, "Very". This went straight over his head as he thanked me for this information, drew his sword and started looking around the general area. He actually had his back turned as i hulked out and ate him, then I went on a chicken killing spree in a local farm.

Good times...

I had my wolf spirit murdered because ♥♥♥♥ being a werewolf or a vampire or any of that ♥♥♥♥. I'm already an Argonian Master Race member I don't need to moonlight as a furry or a necrophiliac.

Damage? Hardly.

Sure, experimenting is fun, but I don't see the point of going and doing every possible thing for the sake of doing it.

If I'm playing when victory is the entire point of the game - such as a purely competitive MP game like Space Marine - then sure I'll use every trick in the book, but with things like Skyrim or Oblivion... there is no "win", there is no final victory or game-over. You can beat the core questline, you can beat every non-Radiant generated quest... but obtaining ULTIMATE POWER? Eh, who cares. I have better things to do than grind, and cheating takes any of the fun out of it that I might find to begin with.

I find it kind of ridiculous when the player character is the head of every major organization and a vampire-fae-werewolf-dragon-owlbear with master-crafted, mega-enchanted daedric everything.

On a mildly related topic: Who would get to have your character after he/she dies?
At the very least Nocturnal, Hircine (if werewolf) and Sovngarde all want to have you after you die. And I'd swear Molag Bal is severely... interested... as well.

I think the player's character will be quartered by horses and everyone will have a piece.

The obvious solution is to throw all the Daedra in a fighting ring. Last one standing takes the soul!

Then you sneak off to Sovngarde while they're distracted. :wink:

Sovngarde, definitely.
Its the most similar to Valhalla but without valkirian slut riding pegasus, other options are:

Draugh = Join some undead order with creepy nord rituals and rest in trance until some punk beats your ass.
Nocturnal = Be slaved and confused until your unpredictable end of existence comes.
Hircine = Hunt.

If this option existed I would like my dragonborn meat would be recycled into a super-powerful
fuel used to burn people in wars, something fearsome what war machines would use for decades.
