Even though Bioware is a faction of EA, it already had some hate in the beginning. But I think they've gotten much worse than just that. Remember Dragon Age 2?

Personally i like Mass Effect and then Mass effect 2 was released and it had most of the features Mass effect had remove such as Weapon Mods.

So Naturally One can come to hate Bioware.

also i feel i should mention. My comments wasn't at Mojang. just notch, Mojang itself is suitable and is a good company considering they yet to do much wrong. That said notch been a utter fool about lots of things.

Notch certainly dropped from the pedestal I once put him on, that's for sure.
Many Minecraft promises remain unfulfilled, and I doubt they'll ever be fulfilled.

Yeah, I bought minecraft when it was just taking off (early alpha) because I thought it showed promise but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations (creepers are just annoying aboveground and some modders do better jobs of adding features than notch), however I love how terraria came along and took the good things about minecraft and added everything I hoped for. So yeah unless you can spend hours just building with digital lego essentially, and/or exploring, it will be boring.

So yeah I just think notch is a bad developer/designer (not a bad programmer, he is a decent programmer), he comes up with good initial ideas but then doesn't seem to be able to take them anywhere (from observing all his games and LD entries plus his art is terrible). However I don't think mojang sucks, the only people that have worked on minecraft are notch, jeb and c418 the rest of mojang have been focussed on scrolls.

I like to think that EA has many offices making different games, so when a new EA game comes out it doesn't have to be just like the last EA game that sucked. I'm sure this is somewhat true for many large companies.

Oh whoops, I'm putting myself into the haters crowd and announcing that I'm neutral. I should stop doing that.

the thing is EA had ♥♥♥♥ up the CnC series with Red alert 3 and CnC 4 (and 3 kinda) but if it was just one game i would be " oh this could be good"
but alas in my eyes they ♥♥♥♥ up more since they took over that said Generals itself was a good game so hopefully Generals 2 would be a good game as well.

Still hate EA though.

I have one word that sums up my hate for EA.

Origin

What was going through their heads when they came up with the idea to make an entierly new game client rivel to Steam is beyond me. Maybe, just maybe if they had releases from other delvelopers it might work, but Steam would still have the majority of the market. There might be a few hardcore sims fans or something that would make full use of it, but i havn't heard of a single person that does. Origin (combined with the browser menu) killed bf3 for me, and I'll be the first to say i was a pretty big fanboy of the series. And if they even hint that Mass Effect 3 will be Origin only, well, lets just say a few people will get half starved bobcats mailed to them.

Also i think notch is an alright... game... dev whyareyouallstaring....

The possibility of increased profits.

"Let's make one ourselves, can't be that hard"

i'm not arsed about origin, it suits us more than you think since steam got to make better deals than origin thus we may get better things.

However at the same time there games that for origin only (such as the old republic) i may install origin in a bit but it depends on what games is on origin compare to steam.

Origin is useless other than to play certain games, yes.
But why the hell must everyone whine and moan about it.
Install it and play the games. It's not like EVERY ONE OF YOUR GAMES EVER has to be in your Steam library. That's dumb.

I don't get why this valve company needs me to install "steam" just to play half life.
I don't like it.

My internet can't download the updates that fast. (this argument is now void.)
My computer can't run it simultaneously to the game. (this argument is pretty damn void too.)
I like going to the store to buy my games. (no you don't.)
