Re: The Lounge
All of this talk of code and Dwarf Fortress. My brain is not equipped for this.

Re: The Lounge
You should level your brain up, or change it's profession to "Engineer", "Tactician" or "Brainiac". Also, equipping it with "Amulet of Lua" or "C# Sword" could do the trick.

Re: The Lounge
The last time I played Dwarf Fortress I equipped my guys with around a dozen crossbows in one hand, and several dozen shields in the other. When I finally got swords and stuff I required an armourer guy but the dwarf I appointed did nothing but host parties in the eternally blood soaked statue garden.

Re: The Lounge
Anti Zombie ammunition. Its entertaining because that is actually live ammunition, suitable not only for killing the undead but for also most living things.

Re: The Lounge
Sometimes I want to hug Nintendo.
Back when I had money, I bought the 3DS at full price, while it was new. You can laugh at me for buying it so early, you can laugh at me for buying a handheld console, heck you can laugh at me for buying a console at all, but the fact is I did and I'm not giving it back for anything. Just before Nintendo crashed the price of the console, they felt the need to repay all the people who bought it way back when, and so they gave away 10 NES virtual console games as free downloads to all of them, which more than refunded the price in terms of how much it would cost to download them yourself (and even moreso if you wanted to buy the original, they're antiques now).
Now, just to rub it in some more, they're releasing 10 GBA virtual console games as well, utterly loading me with all these games, none of which take long at all to download. If you couple this with the free excitebikes they released in 3D, zelda fourswords they released to everyone for free for a while, a few 3D adverts I got, all the other free content they released, and the standard software it comes with, that brings my total 3DS apps to 42.
The main menu doesn't have room for anything above 60, but the SD card they throw into every 3DS can more than cope with the memory for all of them, so I don't know how that's going to work out. At this rate, I'll be up to my ears in content without spending a penny over the original price I paid for the console.

Re: The Lounge
Although we only got the original game boy back in '93 it works without a hitch so far. Or at least it did the last time I saw it about two or three years ago. Never did get anything else past the game boy color, which in retrospect was kind of pointless, since there was little to no difference between the two of them. That and I had like 6 games which really didn't help.

Re: The Lounge
The only console I own is an antique Game Boy Color. I haven't bothered to replace the batteries in years.
I have (or at least had) one game for it: Pokemon Yellow. I lost the cartridge.

Re: The Lounge
In those days, pokemon would last for months before you completed it. At least it was like that for me.

Re: The Lounge
I got to the first cave zone and grew sick of all the random encounters. I also had an OCD compulsion to only level one Pokemon at a time, so I used Pidgey and slowly died of boredom.
