Is your CC vanilla? Try deleting any mods from your CC, or even uninstall and install again.

Oh, and... can someone tell me why everyone explodes when I kill them? I shoot them on the leg a bit and they start bleeding. When they die they explode!

Can someone genius enough please tell me how I can add the riot shield to the game, because I need it to use the S.A.W mod. Please, I need it! I can't survive without Brutality and S.A.W mods!

I don't know why this is happening for you. It never happens for me (unless I really push it and unload a whole AR mag into somebody's head, of course).

In Base.rte/GUIs/Skins/Base there are some image files which have the fonts for the game. I think the one you want is either font.bmp or smallfont.bmp. You'll have to edit the right one and get rid of all of the little letters and numbers.

I kept them in this time because if I remove them it removes all of the text from the buy menu as well.

You have to use the ditto command in Terminal. I wrote more about how to do that a few pages back in the thread (I think I used some font colors so it shouldn't be hard to find the right post).

I don't like them either, and making new maps is on my list of things to do.

In the mean time you can easily add or change the maps in several ways: the easiest is probably to just find the terrain (image) files in Base.rte and replace them with terrain files that you like better.

Its on P 17. Unfortunately, I do not know what a ditto command is, as my terminal experience is limited to altering others shells slightly to fit my needs, or run some pre alpha tech demo program that happens to be weird when running on a mac. Could I possibly have an explanation? Hopefully Im not pushing the limit of great modders having to deal with total idiots like me =(.

Might wanna stick a -v in there between the ditto and the directory paths too just to see what you're doing if you screw up.

Well, I also don't like that they get used up, but you could make an attachment for the assault rifles to make them become a grenade launcher or an assault rifle, and make the AI use it too. But, well, it's your mod, not mine, so do what you think you have to do. But one thing that I and probably some other people would like is to reduce the kill radius of the thumper. You could make it just explode, not release some bullets out of nowhere. Just like the Coalition grenade launcher.

Hey, I know how to enable any devices, but now I need to enable zombies! I've done a lot of things but none of them work! I wanna play unmapped lands but it says that I don't have the zombie medium. I don't know where he is in base.rte, but I know that he is in undead.rte, but I've done a bunch of things and I can't get the mod to work.

I don't want to bother you, so...hmm...well...just answer, please!

I've added the gap.


the map i mean. i'm also modding the ♥♥♥♥ out of it for personal use. only problem is i'm not experienced enough to add in rhonin.

nevermind.now the browncoats are a very diverse faction. the heavies don't bleed unless they've got a limb off, can take outstanding amounts of damage but are slow and their jetpacks kinda suck.


the lights are like storm troopers. their jetpacks allow for very easy and fast flight for quick run and gun sort of ♥♥♥♥. but they bleed.

The Coalition Pistol is the most powerful assault weapon I've ever seen. It's as accurate and powerful as a battle rifle without the weight.

I like this mod. It takes a while to get used to being so fragile, but I feel like my bullets have power now. Especially those of the Coalition Pistol, as above.

One thing to note is that the robot costs the same as a coalition light, but can take far more bullets before going down.

Is there anyway to have 2 copies of CC on my comp? i tried making seperate files but they still draw mods from each others folders. I wanted a way to play with this mod and without it, without having to reinstall every time.

2. duplicate Data Realms folder
3. reinstall on one

seriously? all you have to do to install a second CC is rename the filepath so the CC main folder in the data realms folder has a different name than the first install.

make shortcuts the same way. for me i have in my game shortcuts folder "cortex command b26" and "cortex command brutality"
