Re: My Fabulous End of the World - Development Log
I've decided on the left model since most people liked it more than others.
I still have a lot of things to do until my currently planned features are finished but I decided to release some sort of "pre-release" version later this week, it will probably be buggy but I think that you might enjoy some of the new features I've been working on.

It's buggy and there are some issues with optimization right now but I thought you might appreciate being able to try out new features and graphics.

Re: My Fabulous End of the World - Development Log
I apologize for late update, I didn't have much time to work lately and I've been doing mostly uninteresting stuff anyway but now I'm back on track. Time for weapon updates. This is the replacement for the standard machine gun. I don't like ripping off existing designs and I'm not a gunnut myself so the design might be a little shitty but I remade it 3 times already and I'm quite satisfied with it.
time to texture it.

It looks like a LMG rather than Assault Rifle, but who cares.
Wouldn't this make modding harder?

look like an assault rifle to me, just with a Drum Mag. they're a lot of guns with drum mags, such as the G36 series have a lot.
Model looks too pointy in my opinion

Marginally, depending on the method of putting models into the game. 3D modelling of static objects isn't too terribly hard, once you get the hang of whatever modelling program you have to use.

Well, maybe not harder, but not as easy as before.

I know why it looks like a MG and not like an Assault rifle. The mag is much wider than the gun, thus it looks like the box mag of a M249 SAW. It's stock is also very short, compared to assault rifles.
Anyway, it doesn't matter.

Actually, it's an LMG, I'm pretty sure I said that in my previous post.
More goodies:
