The italics give that comment quite a sharp perceived tone, sharper than is really called for. Be chill.
I just took the joke to complete absurdity and showed that in reality, drl's being commendably active, by contrast to how it may seem if you're not checking their twitter once in a while.

All my words are sharp, they are finely honed instruments of death. A man who doesn't regularly sharpen his words will find them to have rusted away.
After all, I tend do be fairly blunt myself so making sure my words are sharp is probably a good idea.
