   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimThe only problem I've got with Skyrim is that you can't join the Dark Brotherhood the same way you join them in every other TES game, but it's not a biggie.

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimHow often do people experience crashes?i experience two so far.. well the 2nd one isn't really a crash just a frozen screen.
and honestly no one heard anything about the modding tools yet?

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimThe creation kit is still in dev by Bethesda, no release date stated. There are still some basic mods out though, mainly a few to fix/improve mages. I've only had Skyrim crash on me twice, with one reproducable: once when I shot someone with lightning, and the recurring one is when you have to break the wall in Sarthas. Once I break it, the game freezes. I can fix it by using the game's default settings instead of my tweaked ones.

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimI'm stuck on the latter, At first i thought it was just my Pc, it appears i may need to avoid that quest for awhile,
I'm already aware of most of the tweaks and stuff, But i'm really hoping to see mods soon, before i get really bored of skyrim.

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimSkyrim only crashes for me when I Alt-Tab more than 5 times on 5 minutes.I can't wait for some mods because the inconsistent level scaling is killing me...literally.

EDIT: I mean seriously, either I'm playing in some weird way that the game didn't intend me to or their system doesn't really work as intended. I often get into encounters (Ice Wolves..argh) where no matter what, I just can't win. It would've been okay if that was intentional, but it's not.

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimI suggest you get the Borderless Window mod.Makes alt-tabbing many times easier and faster and less buggy and annoying.

That's what fixes it for me, then after I break the wall I just replace my old copy of skyrimprefs.ini and everything works fine.

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimOkay, I know this is redundant, but I cannot get over how amazing this game is.Everytime I start to think "Man, more wolves?"
 BAM
 Giant underground lair.
 "Another bandit camp?"
 BAM
 Dwarven contraptions
 "More quests?"
 BAM
 Falmir subterranean caves

   |   Re: The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimIt's awesome how most dungeons/caves are special again, like in Morrowind. Not that copy/paste work from Oblivion. My jaw dropped on many occasions already.
