Well, I thought Coalition would develop some kind of biological/chemical weapons. I don't know, I've always imagined Coalition troops with gas masks.

Well, Techion have more futuristic colors, so I hope they have some sort of laser beam weapons or lightning guns or futuristic stuff.

Weirdly i see Ronin as a band of looters, looking for scrap weapons , old weapons poorly made weapons, etc.

I had a dream which had some small moments of CC. It was like an update log that looked like the buy menu, and it had many units, and there was something like a Techion turret named "I'll keep this here to remember that I have to finish this".

Hopefuly, B27/B28 will have Techions with a wider variety of weapons.

Gun name: RPG-7
What I like about this gun:

Realistic implementation of the Warhead, makes an EFP that penetrates materials upon contact with a surface

What I don't like about this gun and I think should be changed about it:

Isn't really effective for destroying things, and if my memory serves me correctly, the previous bazooka was. Perhaps add another ammunition type, could be differentiated with a red-band around the warhead, that could be blasting/HE functionality.

Additional notes (not required): If you added a third ammunition type, Frag Warheads, it would be nice too.



Gun name: M1 Garand
What I like about this gun: Decent power, realistic clip size

What I don't like about this gun and I think should be changed about it: Sharp distance is a wee bit too short. It's supposed to be longer range than the Assault rifles, yet it feels equivalent or less than the Assault Rifles... Make it a bit longer.


Gun Grenade name: Grenade (Coalition)
What I like about this gun grenade: Looks different.

What I don't like about this gun and I think should be changed about it: Costs too much, Ronin/Generic grenades are a better value. Same for incendiary, I can buy a cheap pistol for that much.

Additional notes (not required): What are the differences between the grenades anyways?

In my opinion, grenades are a little too cost-prohibitive to be effective, and any amount of grenades large enough to be useful weighs down your actor.

Could there be a sort of grenade belt system instead? As in, you buy a belt (for a substantially higher price than any single grenade) and you can keep throwing grenades as long as you have the item. It would make grenades finally worthwhile and give the player a high degree of tactical flexiblity.

I credit Gotcha for this idea, as he implemented it fantastically in his flagship Unitec mod.

Any comments or critiques would be appreciated.

Auto cannon

Pros+
+feels so powerful and blasts things to bits
+makes nice sound
+quick

Cons-
-ugly as ♥♥♥♥
-aesthetically boring
-heavy

Scouting Rifle

Pros+

+feels quick and responsive
+sounds epic
+like a cod 4 sniper forgot the name(cod4 is the oly good cod)
+Lovely!

Cons-

-to simple looking
-Range

you forgetting about CoD 1 2 and 3? you know the Good / decent one?

M60
Pro: Dakka Dakka Dakka. (ork / warhammer fans will get it)

cons : need more Dakka( in short, it shoots but need more bullets).

M60 is just right. Even now it's slightly OP, but maybe that's just me and my jetpack modifications.
Also, CoD1 best CoD. No stupid regen healths, semi-auto and generally much better.
Oh, and long campaign. Or should I say a campaign worth playing.
United Offensive was good too.

i believe in terms of FPS games. the first tend to be the best.

as for the M60, i recall it meant to have 100 rounds rather than 50 rounds. since it using a Box ammo rather than a belt.

I'm talking in terms of game balance, not realism. It would be pretty overpowered to have such large clips on such a powerful machine gun.

and in realism the gun uses the same rounds as the M16, so it should also be less powerful.

...which would make it a M16 with a lot of rounds, and that would be boring.
This way we have more variety and fun.

True, but i tend just get little nitpicking at certain things.

Ethier way i still think the M60 need a bit more dakka at the cost of a bit less damage.

Nope, M16 uses the 5.56 NATO cartridge and the M60 uses the vastly more powerful 7.62 NATO cartridge.
