Shook, new sprites are looking very good. They keep the original feel, but just feel more updated.

Thanks, glad to hear that, since that's exactly what i was going for. :D
Also, good news everyone!

Image

HMM ♥♥♥♥ THIS SQUARE NEEDS SOME DEFENSE

Image

OH ♥♥♥♥ IS THAT THE TURRET FAIRY???

Image

OH YEAH

In other words, all turrets now clamp themselves to the nearest wall. I haven't actually tested them in open air, but i probably should. Sadly, the turrets are extremely retarded right now, but i'm hoping that i'll be able to give them a REALLY MEAN AND SIMPLE AI. As in, enemy closes in --> enemy gets shot in the face with extreme prejudice. Otherwise i'll just grab Abdul's excellent turret AI and shove my own shenanigans into it. And i also need to prevent it from flipping all the time, because it looks dumb.

Also, the Vindicator can now switch to Heavy Mode, which essentially means bigger boolits (the powerful tracers from the old version are gone, but Assault Mode (as i call it) remains shooty), lower rate of fire, and just recently, more accuracy.

I'm not gonna ask for a release date, since it looks like you are having a very good time re-modding this, and I shall not disturb your peace.

Great, wouldn't have given a conclusive date anyways. :U (working on and off on this, juggling it along with uni and gaming other games, ♥♥♥♥'s crazy bro, CRAZY)
This i will say, however: It's much closer to completion than before. I only have a few sprites left to do, along with a few weapons to fiddle with. Oh, and the turrets. They need a bit more polish. Then i will reach SATISFACTION. This could take anywhere between one day and one month. Maybe more.

Also @Gotcha thanks man! :D

For a second I read this as "TURRETFACTION", and then I daydreamed about a faction composed entirely out of immobile turrets.
Then I snapped out of it and squee'd over fancy bullety turrets.

It was then Shook knew what he was supposed to do. It was his job and his alone to complete this defensive demonstration.

And on that note, thanks! After viciously jogging around on my keyboard for a few hours, i've finally made the Hammer sniper way cooler.

Image

And it has this neat trail that's fully continuous in almost all situations.

Image

I would make it hurtier, but it already kills 100% of the time on a headshot against a vanilla unit, and it does this while barely penetrating two centimeters (on my monitor) of dirt. Does it kill a Pelian soldier? Well, probably, since it did before. Light soldier is going down big time, medium might survive with some luck, and heavy will tank those bullets with his faceplate like he got paid for it. All of them would die instantly without a helmet though.

Also gave the Vindicator a new sprite and name.

Image

In other words, it's GETTING CLOSER TO COMPLETION.

Not quite yet, but with some luck, I'll put the finishing touches on it tomorrow (before I start up Skyrim again, because every time I did that the last few days, nothing else has been done). It's only a sprite or two I need to fix up, then it's good to go!!! After that, I shall resume shouting at people and punching dragons in the face, like a true SUPERMAN VIKING does it.

@Galactic: Hah, nice. I can imagine they made some funny faces when they saw that. :U

Ohey guise, updated the ♥♥♥♥ out of this. Check it out, the changelist is basically too big to list. And/or i'm lazy. Things to know:
- Shotgun, Grenade Launcher and Assault Rifle have multiple fire modes accessed by pie menu
- Grenade Launcher and Clusterbomb Cannon now have their predicted arcs shown
- Turrets are actually useful now, in that they clamp to the nearest wall (for coolness) and are quite ruthless when people step inside their bubbles
- Many sprites beefed up
- Many effects tweaked and changed
- PlanetKiller now has DIFFERENT DISPLAYS TO SHOW

And otherwise just go hog wild.

Man what a downer, I invest copious amounts of anger (because mods consist of 50% RAGE) into getting this out before hopeless Skyrim addiction sets in, and nobody cares enough to tell me what they think? Gee, thanks. If I didn't know how much time and life Skyrim consumes, I'd be pretty disappointed. Instead, I shall assume that you're perfectly fine with everything, and have no wish to see further development of this, because I have no reason to assume otherwise.

In case my extremely subtle sarcasm didn't come through, I am butthurt because I was looking forward to hearing your thoughts. That's not too much to expect, is it? (under normal circumstances, anyways)
