I honestly have no problem with the inventory, it seems a vast improvement over Oblivion's I have no idea what you are talking about :l

I also dislike how items in the top and bottom are, how do you say this... gradually blurred out? Would be nice to not have this effect as to instantly see what you have in your inventory. Oh well. Mods will come. Issues will be solved.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Hah, NPCs can initiate conversations, and unlike in oblivion, conversations don't freeze time. I was on my way to a dragon, and a "fugitive" walked up to me, and told me to hold on to something, while an ice wraith attacked. A find the dragon, and, naturally, the moment it starts attacking me, the hunters chasing him start talking to me, while we're all being burnt alive by the dragon (awesome-sounding) fire breath. I suppose next I'll be electricuted.
12 hours in, still not used to the console-oriented UI, still haven't come across an Argonian.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
CYRI gave me results. I can play minimum, but if I ♥♥♥♥ around with my hardware, possibly recommended. It's a good thing nobody in this thread is discussing piracy because it's strictly against the rules and should be kept to PMs.

EDIT: the site decide to work. just my RAM and CPU speed failing, my CPU speed being 0.2Ghz under and my ram being a full 1Gig under. while everything else is great. Should i even bother getting to test and see if it playable and just get a new PC later?

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I can run it on absolute lowest settings at about 15 FPS. This was tolerable enough that I played through the tutorial and escaped from the cave. Fun stuff. I really like the feel of spells, reminds me of the Plasmids in Bioshock 2. Dual-wielding is fun, too. Bows are fun to use and pretty effective. Favorites system works much better than hotkeys, imo, and I think this will be especially true on the console versions.
Huge thumbs-up from me so far, and I haven't really even experienced the full orgasmic visual-audio immersion yet- it's looked more like Morrowind than Skyrim- so I'm judging on mechanics alone, and not just "OOH THIS IS PRETTY."

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
i think that's one of skyrim selling points though which is kinda sad.
That said crysis was simliar and crysis was indeed fun.. (although personally i didn't think it was ♥♥♥♥) Either way, i really do wish they do demo's. imma get it and see how jerky it is on lowest for everything

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
High systems specs is not a selling point of Skyrim It's a console port
