Hey miggles, could you perhaps not change the title of the thread every five minutes. After a while it gets really annoying.

That's kind of the point. (And it's like, every couple days, so..) And why not? The brackets are still there, you can still tell it's the Homestuck thread.

Just read this through, beginning to end, in one day. That's probably a record. And holy ♥♥♥♥ was it good. Now I'm more excited for this on the 11th than skyrim.

You are a great man Also related: http://♥♥♥♥.tumblr.com/http://discoveringhomestuck.tumblr.com/These two liveblogs are pretty great, they did what you did only writing down their reactions to various panels The first one is both funnier and has a deeper insight but they're both pretty good They met up at a con today to watch Cascade and the Intermission together too, which is pretty sweet

I am legitimately surprised the act 5 endything actually tied it all together. there were so many loose threads. This man is a fantastic story teller.

Re: [Homestuck thread] Lord English Muffins is Betty Crocker
Metal chao, interesting theory (lol, and I liked the part about him being a host; once again I failed to get Doc Scratch's obvious foreshadowing) but doesn't a universe have to be destroyed to bring Lord English in? If that's the case, then does killing Jack Noir/Post Master/Jade destroy the universe? (or paradox space o_o) Scratch said he had summoned Lord English in countless other universes, so I'm guessing he is the one to do it though... Lord English does not look anything like I expected him too...matter of fact, his crazy, honking visage resulted in him losing about an infinity of his badass factor. The scheming Scratch seems a better universal overlord than the brute that we now know to be Lord English... But perhaps, somewhere in the creation of Doc Scratch, probably all Gamzee's fault, Lord English went wrong (unlikely, though, this has been done before). His crazy honking might just mean he's some kind of mutant, not like all the other Lord Englishes in other universes. And a few more loose ends; Betty Crocker (or LE lololo), and the about-to-be-God-tiered-character that Nannasprite was talking to on the PDA. We haven't heard any more from him...Maybe he's Lord English (wut, doesn't make any sense) or he could be Jade's grandson. And talking about weird progeny, I seem to recall one line from Scratch (and his former conversations seem to hint at so much of the future) talking about some kind of a genetic relationship with Dave/Dave's Bro (ah, here) which is weird since ectobiologically, Scratch was made by Gamzee...Though now that I think of it, this may just have to do with Lil Cal...whatever.

Asklar, I don't think that's really adding to the discussion, and it's the kind of comment that's going to lead to another fight. Either talk about the comic, or don't talk in this thread.

Re: [Homestuck thread] Lord English Muffins is Betty Crocker
Ok, sorry.
Going on topic, I began reading the comic again, and nothing too interesting seems to happen. Are the things that happen in the first 50-75 pages relevant for the future of the comic?

Heyull no. In fact, most of the cool foreshadowy crazy plotline shit-hits-the-fan stuff doesn't happen until after chapter 2 or so. Still, the first bits are pretty cool. It's mostly just starting a foundation for the comic, off which all the other stuff happens.

Re: [Homestuck thread] Lord English Muffins is Betty Crocker
Can I skip chapter 1? Or I will miss important things like characters and stuff?

Re: [Homestuck thread] Lord English Muffins is Betty Crocker
The first pages set up the rest of the comic, and are actually incredibly relevant to the rest of the story. It's not immediately clear, and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere at first (and indeed it doesn't for a while), but it does all come together as the comic goes. It definitely takes a bit of getting used to, though, and the first bits will seem especially odd if you've never read any of the other MSPAs like Problem Sleuth. Don't skip the first chapter, because it'll only leave you more confused than you need to be.
