Well, what can I say? Drugs are bad, probably he was in a "druggy" mood (c'mon, who says "U mad?" in complete sanity?), maybe he was just having a bad day or something, or maybe he really meant it. And if he did, well, he is a jackass (no offense intended if you still like the dude).

The only thing I know about fighting with friends, is that you will always finish things talking, and you will inevitably have either a good or bad end, which is in my opinion, much better than the neutrality of ignoring each other.

Its based on a alien race arriving on Earth with technology that matches that of the Age Of Sail. It turns out that FTL is a incredibly simple concept, and that by chance, mankind never discovered it.

Then they try to invade Earth with musket rifles, while we have automatic weaponry.

Its my favorite short story.
