I was thinking about the movie 28 Weeks Later, and they aren't zombies, right? They call them infected. Because, come on, rotting flesh can't have such athletic skills.

They could be the Freshies.

There is something in this undead logic that doesn't make sense.

What's that logic that doesn't make sense?

If they are dead, their cells shouldn't work. Which means, no heart pumping blood with nutrients for the entire body, no brain giving orders like breath and no spine to distribute the rest of the nervous impulses.

Unless they could breath, pump blood, walk around, etc., but wouldn't work as a normal human.

Most likely the virus(which does not exist yet) resides in the brain making a human it's host and it may use electric impulses and chemical reactions to control the brain and the body without the life supporting organs.

The fact that you can't hardly bring stuff back to life effectively. A disease that causes that to happen is extremely unlikely. Even with our medical capabilities in the modern day, bringing back the dead is pretty damn hard. Unless they recently died, in which case you can try to defib them back to life, but that's chancy on it's own.
No disease could possibly bring the dead back. There could be the possibility of some sort of disease which works like leprosy and makes you go insane and kill everyone, but they wouldn't be dead until you kill them. Also, in this case, they would have much more intelligent than zombie-grade smarts because they are still functioning human beings. So basically the world goes down the toilet, especially if said disease is airborne.

You can get your hopes up, but it won't ever happen. The very idea of being happy in such a situation is completely sadistic and you should be locked up somewhere.

That's what doesn't makes sense.
If the vital organs doesn't work, let's use as an example the heart, muscles wouldn't have nutrients, which would mean that they wouldn't be able to move, or at least if they can move, they would start rotting, and zombies would lose their limbs after sometime.

Most likely zombie Apocalypse would be some kind of parasite that takes control of the human body by the brain and when a vital organs destroyed the host dies and the parasite moves to a new hosts until it dies like the movie Slither.

The Virus has the ability to mimic certain functions of the body without help from the rest of the body, meaning they only need the brain to function the rest of the body. But in my opinion, I say there are 5 different types of zombies.

What about tanks?

I don't mean the zombie kind either. I mean ones like the Abrams or the Leopard.

I imagine both could slaughter zombies, either with the hull and coaxial machine guns or with the main cannon.

But when you run out of fuel in a tank and your surrounded by a horde your basically a can of food.

I imagine it would be common sense not to drive into a horde when nearly empty. Besides, they cant get in.

I think something with as little intelligence as a zombie would find it difficult to break into anything.
