Re: Team Fortress Deux
I've read on the Steam Forums that "Full Moons" actually just means "Any Event Map" but even if not, Full Moon is a roughly once-per-month event so it'd be only 3 weeks a year or so you could wear your fancy threads Slightly disappointing really, but the addition of the beautiful Pyro Ghost Hat and Pyro Skull Mask (which are available all year round) mollifies me a bit Also Scout weilding Severed Spy Arm as a bat

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Fellow TF2 players of Datarealms, is there a time where we gather and play together?

Probably not. Every in-a-game attempted DRL meet ends up in 5 people showing up for ten minutes.

The 22 Scouts only looking for gifts. Why are you playing on event maps if you don't want to play the event, though? Aside from Mann Manor, you can just play the normal version of the map and not have that problem.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
I like the idea of having the chance to grab gifts while playing the game, but I don't like having most people care naught for the game and simply hunt gifts. I know the latter is inevitable, so I don't care that much.

But I find the gift system very flawed, and very bad. Would've been better if they gave everyone who got out of treasure island a gift..

Fair enough. Have an of you used tf2wh.com? I tried it the other day and it's pretty useful. You trade stuff to their bots and get credits, and then you can spend those credits on other items. It seems to be pretty secure, although I wouldn't suggest leaving a lot of credits in your account.

Oh god, thanks for linking me to that site. That is a truly convenient way to get rid of my wares none wants!

Re: Team Fortress Deux
It's beginning to look a lot like Australian Christmas. Update tomorrow, weeee. Double drops till next Wednesday too.
Question, though. I'm bedaffled by what the Third Degree actually does. The description escapes me, anyone mind explaining?

Re: Team Fortress Deux
I think it means it damages both the medic and its healer, and vice versa.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Honestly doesn't sound incredibly useful because there's few times you're going to be in melee range of a medic/healee pair but it's an amusing item nonetheless
I like the idea of the new weapons but it'll be hard to replace Deagreaser/Axtinguisher, and that gun better be damn good if it hopes to get rid of my beloved shotgun.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
How interesting, I also go Degreaser/Axtinguisher/Shotgun
I also changed my Rocket Launchers name to RAWKET LAWNCHAIR, and Sasha to HEVY MACHAINGUN because I like Metal Slug

Re: Team Fortress Deux
I am not surprised, Degreaser/Axtinguisher is pretty much the only sensible way to play pyro and the Detonator is an awful weapon.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Yeah. I use the shotgun with the pyro because I think he needs non fire damage. The flare gun is pretty nice for pyros that can aim, but is situational. I still use it every once in a while
