Post [Homestuck thread] ACT 6 ACT 5
Overview

Official thread of all things Homestuck related. Post thoughts, concerns, speculation, or whatever is relevant.
Read Homestuck here: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/
It will be the thing on the right. With the strange looking boy. Read all the pages.
And also, if you're a new reader, do not under any circumstances read any spoilers or I will ♥♥♥♥ murder you.

To put it bluntly it is a dramady. Sometimes it's hilarious and other times it's insanely serious to a point that it will gut your rectum with the brick that you just shat. I can hands down say this is the best thing ever and go read it now. It may seem long, but you can read the whole thing up until where we are now in probably within a week or two of your spare time.

Also, there's merchandise. There's around what, 15~ albums of music, there's posters, there's shirts, and also pins. Buy them all.

NEWNS

Today is no longer 10/25. The biggest update to homestuck came out then, go watch it. You will probably have a seizure and/or have to change your pants.

In closing, I suggest you read this comic right now or I won't STRIP YOUR THROAT FROM YOUR NECK AND BURY IT UNDER MICHAEL JACKSON'S GRAVESTONE.

Harsh.

I still don't understand all the fuss about MSPA.

You would understand the fuss if you took your time and read it. You can't say, 'Oh why does everyone like X? I don't understand X.' without finding the defining properties of X that make it such a fuss.

In layman's terms: Don't knock it before you try it man.

I did. I read/watched the first 100, and still did not find it enjoyable.

100 pages?
Did you make it past Chapter 1? Because Chapter 1 starts off really slow.

I read a bit and stopped at the "Retrieve Arms" joke.
I still can't get it.

That's like, what, page 5? What don't you get? If you don't get it now, then later your mind will probably kill itself.
It's a joke, read it and go on. It isn't hard to do.

I just don't get it.
Culture issues, probably.

I'll read some more, but still.

I don't recall seeing anything that would indicate the end of a chapter, but if you mean after the boss battle with his father, then yes.

I still have my throat. I complained to Duh about it so that you might be warned.
You shouldn't make empty promises like that, Miggles. :(

Ok, maybe I was naive or something. To me, Homestuck had come across as a universal constant of entertainment but I suppose not. How about we dedicate this thread to people who actually enjoy the comic and not people complaining about it/their lack of throat-less necks. K?

Homestuck requires you to read Problem Sleuth, which anyone who is a fan of text-based adventures should do.
And really, Homestuck doesn't pick up until I'd say Chapter 2, maybe midway through Chapter 1. But good god is it ever entertaining.

What HK said. Homestuck starts out pretty naive and simple, but after a while you start to get a sense of the overarching plotline, and discover that it's pretty much the mostest complexified archoncatenation of paradoxevents ever.

Yeah, I find it pretty entertaining. :33 < It's also the only webcomic ever able of making me purrsonify a grey catgirl with a typing impediment. :333
