Well the codex isn't out, and matt ward is doing it so obviously it will most likely be ♥♥♥♥.

However the models that are coming out look freaking awesome.
they gone space tomb King with the elites / HQ units but i'm not bothered by that, the new immortals look badass.

I'm not too fond of new Flayers though but new Immortals are amazing.

yea the new flayers look like generic nercon with claws and decide to slap on some paper on them. but most of the other units in general look awesome.

Most of those will probably be in metal though, that's a huge problem with current Necrons as well.
*sigh* I'll probably just end up buying and painting a single Necron Lord because of steep prices and Matt ♥♥♥♥ Ward.

only the lords are in metal, The rest are Plastic from what i'm aware of.

and yes we should, i'm going to start on the Melta bomb spriting in bit after i made myself a nice cup of tea.

got anything else you want me to sprite? i got a few hours to kill.

That's nice, I might even get a new army.

I really think that we should give Imperials a DropPod, even if it doesn't follow the fluff. Just a resprite maybe?

That was the reason why I decide to sprite the valk, However i could Look around and see if in lore (story lore) that they may had been any drop pod of any sort.if not I could always re-sprite the space marine drop pod and make it more Imperial guard appearance.


my To-do list as of now is;

melta bomb , Multi melta Combi-weapons (combi flamer, Plasma Melta)

all easy enough since it mainly just copy paste and move a small but (other than the Melta bomb)

deep down we all have a heretical side.


Just curious to how to go with it, Should it just be a re-coloured IG with some Spikes / chaos star on the shoulder pads? or should i do the Cultist with some IG armor on them?

I would have liked to make more complete sprites rather than re-sprites, but I didn't want to make it a pain with offsets. Feet color is going to change too cause I just realized how bad those look.

well i may go with the Cultist look and then maybe add random bits of cultist merged with imperial guard armor (although i'll need to fiddle around with how to go about making Mobs unless you have some tips for me)

also looks good for now, Although i can't really see where the overcoat (raincoat thingy) is.

Alright, regarding the traitor guard at the moment i just got a re-colour IG armor (going Khorne cause why the hell not?)

However, i cannot decide which of the two ways to go with this.




and the other is.



The problem with the first picture is trying to re-create the mark of Khorne.

However playing around i'm debating how to put the Symbol of Chaos on the lasgun (in place where the eagle was) as well as placing it on the Helm / Shoulder pad.


EDIT 1: so i decide to go with a mix approach the first idea is a generic IG with horns and a spikes as well as some symbol. i have also added a bayonet cause, chaos love Pointy things.

Any suggestions on what other variants to do as well as help to re-create the first example of the Khorne traitor guard.
