If you fake a recent jaw injury and play mute in the work place, costumers are less likely to attempt any arguments. Just have all the frequently asked questions written down on a memo pad to flash. It makes for an abnormally peaceful day.

An Intel Celeron 300A was worth $180 USD new, but is only worth a tenth of that today.

Note that adjusted for inflation that would be $225 USD today. The Intel Celeron 300A was a 300 mhz processor, while today for $225 USD you could pick up this, a 3.3 ghz quad core. Technology is amazing.

Today I learned nitrous oxide in a higher than regular dosage for dental applications does nothing for me.
Or my dental office just messed that up. That's a lot better than messing up the not-breaking-my-jaw-part of the extractions, at least.

NO doesn't work for everyone, I'm also immune. During a dental surgery they tried cranking it higher and higher until it displaced too much oxygen and I started blacking out.

Today I learned you should sign up for every contest ever, regardless of whether your probability of winning is high or not.

Today I learned how to make an easy $100. Our school has this essay contest thing, you have to write about what you think freedom of speech/expression is. Last four years, NOBODY from our district submitted an essay, so by default the essay I submit will net me the $100 for that. If I get lucky enough and I win the county-wide one, I think I get like $500, even better.

Sounds pretty epic.

I learned that I have failed my English class for the 1st quarter.

I learned that I do better on history tests/quizzes/exams using solely conjecture than if I actually read and studied what I was supposed to.
