I think that's the appeal. As well as the video game references.
I didn't like the characters or plot myself (LOL YOURE SCREWING SOMEONE BEHIND MY BACK BUT YOU LOVE HER SO IM COOL WITH IT), but the SFX were nice.

LOLOLOLOL

Today, our philosophy/moral and ethics teacher was going to hand out some tests we did last week, but before he said "I'm going to hand out last week tests, but before I'd like to talk with some student about their results".

So he was calling the guys that always have bad marks, and then, he called me.
He asked me "Do you remember where you sat down for the test? (I don't remember what he asked me then)? How much did you study?"

And when I said "I just studied like 1 hour or less, I just wanted to remember some names and stuff. I remembered everything else from the class", he was pretty shocked and said that I had 100% on the test.

I was like "Holy ♥♥♥♥". Later he said "I talked with everyone which had good marks because this test had surprising results. I wanted an explanation about how they got good results, and it seems that everybody studied weeks before, but with one exception."

I don't like to brag, I just didn't tell anyone except some friends, and I was internally feeling like "♥♥♥♥ yeah".

Not to minimize your accomplishments, but I've always found Philosophy to be a rather easy subject. I entertain myself by attempting to find arguments about why this or that philosopher is wrong (very likely bad arguments, I make no claim to be good at it), and thus remember it far after the test.
A lot funner than Statistics.

I don't think philosophy is hard, you just need good memory to remember some (or sometimes a lot) of specific names and have a very open mind.

The thing is, most of my class mates don't think and reflect (Right word?) much. It's like, they might be good at maths at all, but they don't have this kind of deep thoughts.

philosophy is fun to think about
especially when you have an idea that can't be proven either way

Last year, I was given an hour and a half to complete my math final. I ended up finishing it with fifty minutes to spare, a good twenty minutes earlier than anybody else. Naturally, I figured I'd bombed it, so much to my surprise I got a 96% on it. Less a sense of elation, more one of relief.

Among myself and my peers it's far less common to get anywhere near the timed end of an exam than to finish with at least half an hour to spare (and usually more) and get good marks
I mean it's still good that you got 96% it's just not really that uncommon

If you look around an exam room you'll generally see loads of people just sitting and twiddling their thumbs long before the time is up

Coupled with the facts that it took twenty minutes for the next person to finish, and that I was at the time two grades ahead (now three, ♥♥♥♥ pre-calc), I pretty much thought I was screwed. Hell, I usually did ♥♥♥♥ on the tests anyway, getting less than 80% was the norm for me.

Not quite sure how odd it is, but when I was in 6 grade I took Algebra 1 while my cousin started in her sophomore year.
Also, I like to think I'm smarter than 80 percent of my classmates, and in reality I am, I'm just not book smart. I know lots of things that I may actually need to know how to do in life as apposed to the bull♥♥♥♥ they teach you.
Honestly, when will the name of the general at the battle of boresnore come into play in my life? I always thought they should teach you what you wanted to know from the start, not what they think you should know. Although everyone should definitely take English. Or whatever language is native to your country.
Say I wanted to be a clerk. (for whatever reason) When would reading 'Moby ♥♥♥♥' be useful in that job?

Just been thinking lately.

I barely pass all my tests lol. Never gotten good grades in my life.

Counselor apparently thought I'm pretty smart though, as she stuck her neck out to get me pushed up a grade.

My teachers usually like me and prevent me from failing despite the fact that I rarely ever do my homework. I haven't a clue why any teacher would do that for any student, let alone me.

I have rarely had trouble in class when applying myself, except when trying to get caught up after having not been applying myself, which is approximately half the time. I could really use a more reliable source of motivation.

Miggles, various things like that can be more useful than is apparent. A clerk may never benefit from learning a story about some stupid whale, but they would benefit to some extent by having improved their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and communication skills by reading, being quizzed on, writing a report, and doing a presentation about a story of some stupid whale.

Basically that. It's not what you read, it's the fact that you read.
