Re: Roll to Dodge - Illusia (Roll #68)
Torrent (Gillian) (12 - 2 = 10)
You put your hand up to the spot on your chest where you think your ribs are broken. A blinding flash of light bursts forth from your fingertips, and you feel better.
You don't think that the injury fixed, though. Your powers aren't strong enough.
Ociamarru (Nikolai) (4)
You attempt to clamber up the giant's leg, but you can't get any good handholds. The giant foot takes a slow step forward under the effect of the increased mass, (5 v. 5) and you just manage to throw yourself aside before it lands on you.
caekdaemon (Anderson) (12 + 1 = 12)
"C'mon! Work damn it!"You try again, and finally, the weight lifts from you. However, you feel that the presence of the mass field is nearly gone. You've dispelled it from yourself and the others, but you also weakened it around the Greater Demon.
At least it won't trouble you any more.
CaveCricket (Raphael) (3)
You WANT to turn into a dragonfly, but you don't change at all. These powers are such a pain....
*Sigh*Tokochiro (Johni) (12 for stabbing, 8 for clones)
(You cannot stab AND rip the demon's hairs, because that would be two attacks. However, since you have clones, you are able to have them make a secondary action, hence the two rolls that I made. Don't try to use two attacks in one turn, though, because I'll only let you do the first.)You bring out your broadsword and plunge it deep into the demon's chest. It goes in almost all the way to the handle, and the behemoth shakes with pain and rage. (Grip Save = 3)
You're unable to hang on, and you fall down, down, down. You hit the beast's outstretched leg as it takes a step forward, then roll off and hit the hard ground with a painful jolt. Your right arm explodes into pain, and your sword is still up there, stuck in the Demon's chest. However, something did go right. Your clones are hanging grimly on to the demon where you once were. You don't know if that will be much help, but it may.
Adam (Adam) (8 - 1 = 7)
You take a deep breath. Your stomach hurts.
"Lets see how your brain handles a dose of fire shall we?"You begin drilling a thin hole in the demon's head with a concentrated laser of searing heat. He doesn't take too kindly to that, and begins shaking about, trying to get you off. (Grip Save = 2)
You fall. Down you go, falling the full height of the demon's body. (Reflex Save = 7) You manage to grab a hold of something on the way down, slowing your rapid descent. You hit the ground and hear a crack, then everything goes dark.
NPCsGabriel (5 + 2 = 7)
Gabriel goes apeshit with his sword, hacking away at anything he can touch. By the end of his berserk frenzy, he's inflicted a score of wounds on the demon's feet and legs.

The demon wobbles at bit under the combination of leg wounds and increased weight.
