There was a mysterious little girl who always wore a scarf around her neck. She was shy, and whenever someone asked why she wore her scarf, she never answered. When she was young, she went to school like other girls did, and became friends with a boy she had met. They became close, but when the boy asked her why she wore her scarf all the time, she never answered.

As the two grew up, they slowly fell in love with each other until they decided to get married. After the marriage, the woman still wore the scarf around her neck, and when her husband asked her why she wore it again, she did not answer.

Years passed, and the woman had become deathly ill. She was too weak to walk and ate very little. One day, the woman called her husband to her bedside. When he asked her what she wanted, she told him to take off her scarf. He began to slowly and carefully remove the scarf from his ill wife's neck, taking great care to not discomfort her. Round and round the scarf went, slowly loosening its hold on the woman. When the man unwound the scarf one final time, the woman's head fell off.
